We went for a weekend getaway and were wowed at the service of this place. Looks like it used to be an old motel, but they totally gutted and revamped the place. Our room was amazing and modern. It felt very clean and kempt. The service was great and we loved having the little coffee shop at the bottom of the building to get breakfast & coffee. It is also the perfect location - walking distance to downtown area, several restaurants, historic neighborhoods, and the carriage tours. I would definitely stay here again!

We are about to check out of this lovely hotel. We have had a wonderful stay. Staff is pleasant and accommodating. Location is great - within walking distance of all the quaint shops and restaurants. Unfortunately because of the rain during our stay, we didn't use the complimentary bicycles to explore. Would definitely stay here again. Check the website for deals on rooms :)

My wife and I stayed at City Loft while we were attending her brother's USMC graduation at Paris Island. From the check-in to the checkout, we were pleasantly surprised with our two night stay here. I wish I could remember the name of the wonderful staff that checked us in, gave us our free coffee certificates to the great coffee shop on property, walked us to our room, changed us from a Queen to a King room for the second night, gave us dinner recommendations, etc. This property is a former run of the mill motel that has been redone, it is not a custom built all suite property. Keep this in the back of your mind, and you will be pleasantly surprised with the nice rooms, beautiful bathrooms, and attractive exterior. I look forward to another trip to Beaufort so that we can visit this great hotel again.

My wife and went to Beaufort for a weekend and stayed here. The service at the beginning was great. They help us to our room, got ice and were very helpful with anything we needed. The rooms are very comfortable with a great shower. We road the bikes on Saturday threw out the neighbor hood behind the hotel. I would stay here again and would recommend it to my friends. Great location to the town.

Room Tip: We stayed upstairs in room 212 which on corner of hotel furthest away from road. Good room.

Friendly, prompt service in a perfect location. Loved the deep soaking tub and TV in the bath. We had the suite, which is a bit different from the rest of the rooms but suited our needs as one of our adult children was with us. This is the only room with a queen sized bed instead of a king and parents of young children should be aware that the second living/bedroom has it's own exterior door. The suite is tucked deep into the corner on the second floor, hence the "cave" remark in a previous review. It is a bit dark but we didn't mind as we wanted the two bathrooms and the privacy. Normally we are B&B people but we needed a more flexible reservation this time and we knew we would be out very early in the mornings and not be able to partake of any fancy breakfast offerings anyway. The coffee shop right in the lobby was great and we liked it that Breakwaters, the (very good) restaurant across the parking lot, provided room service. Shops, restaurants and waterfront are all easy walking distance and we enjoyed taking the complimentary bikes out for a ride around the historic district. There was a fridge (with much appreciated and reasonably priced bottles of wine) but no microwave. There is no real grocery store in the immediate area so if you are looking for something basic like a 6 pack of Coke for your room or a picnic be sure to pick it up on your way into town.

Room Tip: The suite has 2 full baths (one is shower only) and each room has it's own exterior door. One r...

City Loft is a modern, friendly little hotel that is so convenient to everything in Beaufort and with free parking!. The young staff is so helpful with anything you need, and so very gracious! There is delicious free coffee in their own coffee shop. And they are pet friendly too which is a huge advantage for us. Look forward to going back soon!
Thanks, yall, for everything.

Room Tip: Book early. The word is out that this is an awesome place!
