Beautiful. Great breakfast which was served early on the day of Parris Island graduation. Thanks for that. Convenient to lots of shops, restaurants and historic sites. The inn has a beautiful staircase leading up to the rooms. Loved the porch. Peaceful.

Thank you for your kind words. One of the many great things about The Beaufort Inn are our porches. Many rooms have private porches, some semi private and rooms in the main Inn have porches out front, on the sides and in the back. Lots of great areas from which to "people watch". Please come stay with us again and relax on a different porch each visit.

The accommodations are very nice and spacious. Staff were very helpful and informative. The Inn's restaurant offers great food at breakfast and dinner and you can BYOB. We recommend Nippy's for a casual lunch. It's within a block of the Inn. City is great for bike riding.

Thank you very much for your kind review of the Beaufort Inn and the town of Beaufort. The rooms you mention are called our Garden Cottages...great rooms, incredible bathrooms. We hope you will return and stay there again...or try a Port Republic Cottage with even more space and also incredible bathrooms.

Lovely, Victorian building in great location. Good food, ample breakfast. Easy walk to shopping, waterfront, and other restaurants. Nice place to walk and enjoy Southern architecture, much of which is under renovation or for sale.

Afternoon sweets were served late, with no plates and just paper towels like one would find in a public restroom in lieu of napkins. Staff was pleasant but could use some training. Very good value for the money.

To be fair, we were there early in the season, as things were just being readied, or so it seemed.

Thank you for your nice comments about The Beaufort Inn. I am glad you enjoyed the food, the rooms and the location. To answer to your two specific comments, we are constantly fixing up and painting around the Inn. We tend to do that annually in the slower winter months. During your visit, we were scraping and painting the front porch which was very noticeable and it took way too long due to five straight days of rain. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but it wil look beautiful when complete. You are correct about training. We had a brand new front desk person in the evenings during your visit. I am truly sorry she did not properly put out the plates and napkins for the evening treat. We will continue to always work on training. Please come back and see us and you will see the positive results from all our winter upkeep.

Southern comfort is the best way to describe this hotel/Inn. A gracious welcome and a lovely room.
I overdid the breakfast but what the hell. My wife made the booking and I was so glad that she spoiled me.

My husband and I had an amazing room at the Beaufort Inn and a wonderful trip to Beaufort. The staff at the Inn is outstanding!!! The accomodations are first rate. Will definitely stay with The Beaufort Inn again.

Room Tip: We stayed in one of the Queen rooms in one of the cottages. Great room and quiet atmosphere.

The inn itself was very nice and clean. What I am upset about is I bought a groupon for a room that was supposed to cost $204 and save me about 46% ( the groupon cost $111) when I got the receipt first off they charged me for a nights stay and I had to call to have that charge removed hence the use of the groupon I paid for. Second the room charge was only $139. Not bad if your paying the regular price but instead they advertised the groupon to be a more expensive rate to fool you into thinking you were saving money and that's NOT COOL. All in all I saved about 30 bucks which to me was not worth it.
