We really just happened upon this park. But considering that, within the past week, we've visited Flushing Meadows (Queens Botanical Garden), the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and Central Park, I can't say that we're starved for high-rent garden experiences. And yet, this one, in a lot of ways, trumped them all. The scale is exquisite. Bit enough for a sense of expanse, and yet small enough to get your head around. The fountains are fantastic. The (relatively) small perennial beds were satisfying. But the specimen trees were amazing. It's really something you can only accomplish with hundreds of years of effort. A lovely experience. Highly recommended.
