“Great Bar Food”
Reviewed July 27, 2012

We recently spent a week in Misquamicut and visited Maria's twice. We had dinner
for 8 and ordered a variety of meals with mixed reviews. The lobster dinner for 2 was
very good and plentiful with lots of extras. The rest of the meals were so-so. Non were
bad but, no rave reviews. The individual lobster dinner was small for the price. A shrimp dish was just okay and a scallop dish was pretty good. One unusual thing was that we had ask for wet-naps with the lobsters!
On another evening 4 of us went to the bar for the weeknight specials. We had some 99 cent oysters and 1/2 price bar menu. The lobster nachos and lobster pizza were very good. But only since we were paying half the usual price. The bar staff was very accomodating and friendly.

“Bad food and over priced”
Reviewed July 25, 2012

The food was not good. We ordered a variety of dishes, the sauces were all watery and the food was very bland. I understand that as a beach town they must make their money in the summer however the food was NOT worth it!

“Lousy Restaurant”
Reviewed July 22, 2012

I ordered Calamari which was dried up and absolutely terrible. My friend ordered a Lobster Dinner which was $33.00 and it came with one ear of corn, the smallest lobster that can be legally sold & 5 small pieces of roasted potato. It was a complete rip-off.

“Poor quality overpriced food”
Reviewed July 15, 2012

Its really nice location and good service. Unfortunately, the food was not good at all. We tried calamari. bruschetta, margarita pizza and 2 salads. Calamari was chewi, pizza was burned the first time and not fully baked the second time. The sause was oily and all topinga were just slapped on the top and falling off. Salads were fresh, but had no taste. Cesar dressing was from the bottle I the supermarket. Prices were pretty high considering the area and food quality. I

Thanks for your candid review; it will certainly be relayed to our chef. Our entire approach in the kitchen is to provide the highest quality food product by using the best ingredients we can buy and with the exception of a few items, everything we serve is made fresh on site. This includes, all sauces, Caesar dressing, pizza dough and much more. We are sorry you didn't enjoy your food.

Nice restaurant with great food, I ate there last year...A little pricey and many items were a-la-cart but so what....you only live once!
