“Bad food and over priced”
Reviewed July 25, 2012

The food was not good. We ordered a variety of dishes, the sauces were all watery and the food was very bland. I understand that as a beach town they must make their money in the summer however the food was NOT worth it!

“Lousy Restaurant”
Reviewed July 22, 2012

I ordered Calamari which was dried up and absolutely terrible. My friend ordered a Lobster Dinner which was $33.00 and it came with one ear of corn, the smallest lobster that can be legally sold & 5 small pieces of roasted potato. It was a complete rip-off.

“Poor quality overpriced food”
Reviewed July 15, 2012

Its really nice location and good service. Unfortunately, the food was not good at all. We tried calamari. bruschetta, margarita pizza and 2 salads. Calamari was chewi, pizza was burned the first time and not fully baked the second time. The sause was oily and all topinga were just slapped on the top and falling off. Salads were fresh, but had no taste. Cesar dressing was from the bottle I the supermarket. Prices were pretty high considering the area and food quality. I

Thanks for your candid review; it will certainly be relayed to our chef. Our entire approach in the kitchen is to provide the highest quality food product by using the best ingredients we can buy and with the exception of a few items, everything we serve is made fresh on site. This includes, all sauces, Caesar dressing, pizza dough and much more. We are sorry you didn't enjoy your food.

Nice restaurant with great food, I ate there last year...A little pricey and many items were a-la-cart but so what....you only live once!

“A welcome surprise along the Avenue.”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

Exceeding all expectations. After a day on the beach and rather expecting typical touristy lower-quality offerings, this place was an oasis. Understated and not suffering from an overload of kitsch, we got a table under the awning facing the main drag with our two kids and their friend (12 and 2x 9yo). Kids menu seemed dubious, and the regular menu had all the signs of being overpriced and undervalue. Not so.

Quickly seated and waited on. Service was excellent and kid-friendly. Kids raved about the micro-brew root beer, and the micro IPA was really good. Skipped appetizers, but they looked tempting. The kids menu could have used a fish-n-chips but all the food was really excellent. The fish n chips was real fish nicely breaded, ravioli was fresh and the sauce too. Appetizer margherita pizza was a meal, and delicious. Expecting the chopped clam bits cooked into rubber in a sauce from a can that usually passes for red clam sauce, it was actual littlenecks in shells with a sweet garlicky light tomato sauce, perfect al dente and perfectly portioned.

After finishing dinner, I wished that I had tried the raw selection and dessert, but tired kids wait for no man...we will go back!
