“You'll Enjoy Captain Jack”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2013

We had a group of business owners at the Ocean House this past weekend, and were entertained by Captain Jack Spratt, both as an after-dinner speaker and as a boat captain - he took several of our members out on the boat the next afternoon. They loved it.

Captain Jack himself is a big part of the value. He's an entrepreneur, a veteran corporate CEO and President, a long-time summer resident of Watch Hill, and extraordinarily knowledgeable of centuries of history along the RI coastline.

You'll enjoy the sailing and you'll enjoy Captain Jack. This isn't the usual tourist boat ride.

“Fantastic sailing out of Watch Hill, RI”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2013

Our party had a memorable time sailing with Captain Jack on his classic wooden boat this summer. The whole coastal area is just amazing to view from the water. Learning some of the history of the sights we saw as well as sailing basics was great ! Everyone in our party agreed this was the best way to experience the true flavor of Watch Hill.

“Our family loved sailing on "Trim Again"”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 1, 2013

We departed out of quaint Watch Hill, RI, for a 2 hour sail with Captain Jack and his vintage
24 foot wooden sailboat "Trim Again." Captain Jack let my wife and 2 teenage daughters steer the boat and work some of the rigging, which they all enjoyed. Once Captain Jack took the helm again, we all relaxed in the boat seating which was very comfortable. In my opinion, there is nothing like the feel of fresh sea air in your face! I am glad we brought a camera, as this was a memory our family will not soon forget. Thank you for a great sail Captain Jack.

“A wonderful sailing experience in Watch Hill”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 1, 2013

Captain Jack offers day cruises on his catboat Trim Again and his motorboat Encore. Both boats are beautiful and in Bristol condition. I went on a sunset sail on Trim Again through Little Narragansett Bay out into Fishers Island Sound off Stonington, CT. We had a great time. Captain Jack knows the local waters inside out, so not only can he customize the cruise for you he has a seemingly endless amount of stories and local knowledge to impart. Should you want to, you can sail the boat (which I did) or you can simply sit back and enjoy the scenery. Catboats are very roomy, stable craft, so even landlubbers or skittish sailors can be comfortable. I'd definitely sail with Jack again.

“Wonderful Cruise on Trim Again”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 27, 2013

Trim Again is a beautiful boat that provides sails that leave from Watch Hill, RI. Captain Jack is the most knowledgeable captain you will ever meet and can provide insight on local history, birding and area highlights! He will even let you help steer the boat and if you have never helped sail before this is a must! All of the proceeds that Captain Jack makes goes right to the Mystic Seaport!! If you are looking for a Captain that goes above and beyond on each trip and a beautiful one of a kind boat, you have found it!!!
