“A very Merry Christmas”

I sayed at this establishment over the Christmas holidays and it was an excellent experience. The staff is the epitome of high quality service. They made the experince seems as though I were spending time with members of my own family. They were warm, welcoming, and gracious. The breakfasts are excellent, fresh, and accommodate a wide variety of tastes. The restaurant next door is great and has a great selection and presentation of food. The rooms are great here and always fresh smelling and above all clean. They are kept in excellent condition and the appliances all work. The refrigerator is a great addition, which allows for an individual to keep liquids cold. The coffee maker is superb.

I took a look back at my year traveling for the year 2013. I spent approxiametly 223 nights in a hotel room. I feel compelled to say this property hands down wins all the accolades for the year 2013. Why the Hilton Garden Inn Providence? I have extremeley high expectations of all the properties I visit.. This hotel has a process for any cicumstance that could arise. They have the people......the people have the passion.....the people with the passion have made a commitment to each other, a commitment to the Hilton Brand and committment to ensure that "they EXCEED ALL GUESTS EXPECTATIONS" This property delivers "CUSTOMER SERVICE SECOND TO NONE. Your room will be spotless, you will have your own Keurig Coffe Machine....what a way to wake up in the morning. Then we all get to stroll down stairs to Chef Stew's homemade, creative breakfast and he will make sure you don't leave hungry. Fantastic workout facility....especially after Chef Stew feeds you. The front desk team knows most by name....they are a wealth of knowledge of anything you may want to do or go off to eat. Their airport shuttle sevice is a hit.... I quite frequently hear, WOW....this is fast and convenient. The General Manager Kevin is always walking around the hotel , shaking hands and asking for feed back from the guests. This hotel has won numerous hospitatlity awards and Kevin is very proud to be the recipient and proud of every employee....Kevin knows it's his people....hisTeam that working together for one goal that has earned them all these rewards. So if you havent had the opportunity to meet the Team and the regulars like myself please come join us. A great meeting spot is a brand new state of the art lobby, fire place and happy people getting to know one another. I'm more than a satisfied customer,,,,,I'M A RAVING FAN. Thank you to every person at the hotel that makes me feel at home.

This was our first time at this hotel and we were very satisfied with the entire experience. We stayed New Year's Eve in order to attend a function with about 14 other couples also staying at this hotel. The bed was comfortable and the price included a breakfast buffet which was very good and plentiful. The rooms included a small refridgerator and microwave as well as a mini Keurig coffee machine which if we had known ahead of time we would have brought along some of our favorite flavors of coffee and some food to heat up for our party.

Quite a few years ago, I traveled a lot (weekly) around the country for business. During that time, I always stayed at Hilton properties. Well, my allegiance to Hilton came to a grinding halt when, due a paperwork snafu, the tens of thousands of Hilton points I had accumulated were vaporized.

Scroll forward a decade (I can really hold a grudge) and I have stayed at two different Hilton properties over the past few weeks: the Homewood Suites in Syracuse and, more recently, the Hilton Garden Inn in Warwick, RI (near TF Green Airport in Providence).

Hilton? I"m baaaaccckkk!

I strongly suspect the Hilton family didn't lose any sleep over my absence but fair is fair....these last two experiences have been really good. The properties hit the mark on so many points .....comfortable,.clean, efficient. And the Warwick property has a full service bar/restaurant with some really clever dishes highlighting local foods. Very good.

But the item that really convinced me to make a point of reconnecting more often with the Hilton chain? It's the people who work there. Seriously, two snaps WAY up for the HR department for hiring the nicest, most efficient, professional staff. From the folks that greet you at check in to the cleaning staff.. all top notch. Special nod to Lynn at the front desk in Warwick.

We were there due to a very, very early flight out of Green. This woman, Lynn (boy I hope I have the right name), was incredible. She was extremely helpful in making some last minute adjustments to our travel plans that helped a worried mom get her 19 year old daughter a timely and safe connection back/forth to the airport. And a toothbrush! Yup, when your kid is flying off to the Glades for a science camping adventure, forgetting the toothbrush was just that "one more thing" that I didn't need.

So, do you have to fly in or out of Providence, RI? Stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. We already made our next booking.

Great staff, always a big help. Personable people. The room was very clean and comfortable. Great bed for a full night's sleep. Restaurant experience first rate. Food was exceptional and priced right. Wait person made the experience pleasurable. The hotel's lobby refurbishment came out fresh and appealing. A little overdone in a few areas, but overall refreshing.

The Hilton Garden Inn near the T.F. Green Airport in Warwick RI is a great small hotel. It is quiet, convenient, clean, and comfortable. It has a nice pool/hot tub and exercise room. The in-the-lobby breakfast is better than at similar hotels. The best part of the hotel is the customer service. We had a problem with the bathroom sink, called the front desk and in 5 minutes on a holiday had a repair man at our room to look at the sink. Since he needed to work on the sink, the staff came and helped us to move to another room. Prompt, friendly, considerate, what a wonderful staff. The hotel was very full for the holiday, and the hotel didn't scrimp on having adequate staff on- hand. What a pleasant surprise. Kudos to HGI at TF Green.

Excellent location, close to the airport and Route 95. The staff is friendly and efficient. Rooms a clean and pretty good size. Very good value. Ample free parking. Lots of dining options close by the hotel.
