We stopped there on Sunday July 27, 2014 on our way to the T.F. Green Airport. It's located within two miles of the airport.
Many years ago this was our favorite place for dinner or I should say, mostly desserts. But having moved to another state, we haven't been back there for quite some time. Until Sunday.
We both had the turkey dinner. It was all freshly made with fresh mashed potatoes, stuffing, and squash. I felt like it was Thanksgiving all over again. Even the gravy tasted fresh. The serving size is very large and this was plentiful for both of us. Knowing we had an evening flight we wanted a good meal beforehand, and this delivered.
We also bought one eclair to share and took with us for pre flight nourishment. Their desserts portions are so large. Greggs is known for this.
Note: Our waitress was very good and professional. I didn't get her name but I'm sure she'll remember the couple that asked to have their eclair cut in half to go.
If in the area, be sure to stop there. If for anything, dessert.
