The Bluebird Cafe serves real food that's delicious!!

Love the food, love the people. We love taking the family here, lots of options for everyone to end up happy. I love the black beans, my husband likes the pollo rancheros. Each day they make a different variety of corn muffin and they are always delicious.

On Fridays they serve dinner and the jumbalaya is amazing. Highly recommend!!

Yummy brunch food in a casual atmosphere. The cajun biscuits and gravy were really good. We also enjoyed the huevos rancheros, pumpkin pancakes, corned beef hash and fresh blueberry corn muffin. Prices are very reasonable. The restaurant was very busy with some people waiting outside for a table.

Blue Bird looks like, but is not, a strip mall breakfast place. While it certainly has omelets and pancakes for the less-adventuous, it also serves a number of other, less expected breakfast items. Roux, jambalaya and etouffe dot the daily menu like the raisins in the tasty muffins that can come with the breakfast plates.

On Fridays, Bluebird serves dinner which includes a special soup and four or five Cajun/New Orleans-influenced entrees. Those always include jambalaya and catfish and cajun fries which together make up the best fish and chips I have ever eaten.

Good, food, reasonable prices and no wait except sometimes on busy summer weekends - what's not to like?

Order from his breakfast specials. They are always a do not miss. Huevos Rancheros, Huevos Verde, Sausage and Biscuits on Gravy . . . . don't walk away if a wait. Goes very quickly. You won't be disappointed.
