“Authentic Italian with Cracker Jack wait staff”
Reviewed November 29, 2011

We visited the restaurant for a family celebration. We hadn't been there before! There were 15 in out party that consistred of ages 7 - 75. The menus was varied with something for everyone from appetisers through desserts. They seated us at a long table with full table service. We were attended immediately and the orders were complicated with people (even not seated together) sharing/splitting choices. The waiter never wrote anything down and YET got everything to everybody perfectly.
The food was extraordinary - wonderful comments from young and old. They are opened to breakfast and I am eager to try them out for that meal

“Best calamari in R.I.”
Reviewed November 18, 2011

Without a doubt, La Cucina has the best calamari! Very light & tender, never rubbery!!!
The Pappadelle Bolognese & Rigatoni Alla Vodka are very good. I was disappointed
with the Veal Parm., a little tough for my liking. Can't wait to try other offerings though,
Risotto Mediterraneo, Linguine Vongole, Chicken or Veal Saltimbocca, etc.
Prices are very reasonable, a little higher for dinner. Desserts are pretty good also.
La Cucina also serves great breakfasts, 7 days/wk. Great hash. home fries, pancakes,
bottomless cups of coffee served by friendly & efficient Connie & Janie ( breakfast & lunch). Very comfortable surroundings. I highly recommend La Cucina.
