“Eat in an abandoned building”

I live near by and all my life I thought this place was nothing more than an abandoned building. One night some friends took us here and i was shocked this place is a restaurant. If you don't know it was open you would just drive right by and not give it a second look.
Once inside it and feels looks like an old run down inn. Old beat up tables and chairs and this old brick bar. In the corner of the room were some chairs and tables piled up. Surprisingly the food is not that bad considering where you are. The menu is basic American fair. I had a steak which came with a stuffie and a salad. It is served sort of home cooked style, meaning nothing real fancy. It could be a good spot if someone fixed the place up and maybe paved the parking lot.

I give it a very good rating because you have to know what to order. French onion soup, pizza, stuffies, antipasto, steak, and a KILLER pasta with Northern Italian meat sauce!!! It IS THAT good!!!!!! Fireplace in the winter. Very good prices. If you're in a hurry maybe not the place for you.

Excellent food in a historical place. When driving by, don't make any assumptions about the place. Go in & try it! Excellent pizza and cuisine. Friendly atmosphere and if you ask the owner, he'll gladly fill you on the history of The Valley Inn. This dining experience wouldn't be recommended for young children as the service is a tad bit on the slower side and that is why we choose to dine here. When we have a babysitter, this is our favorite local spot to take our time and enjoy the experience.

very strange looking place but we were committed to going there. as my girl said "needs a woman's touch". setting the table as we were already seated ?? and i mean spreading out the tablecloth over us. very friendly but i ordered tenatinely as i wanted to leave quickly. ..but.... the stuffies were very good and then the thin crust grilled pizza was excellent !! the bar does look like a place you could watch a game with the boys. strangely i am going to go back and try some of the real entrees. the cooking was very good. only for the adventurous though - it can really put you mentally off driving in and also going in - very odd but again the food was good...
