“Take it or leave it”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 18, 2012

Our family arrived for brunch around 11am on a weekday. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress and seated at a table immediately. Part of the cafe is set up like a diner. We were disappointed when told pancakes and french toast were not available to order after 11am. Overall, our meals were good and the prices were reasonable. The restrooms were clean but small, and difficult to access since the doors are located along a crowded dining area.

“Bright and happy stop for breakfast!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 19, 2012

Stopped in with my son for breakfast about 9:00 on a Monday morning. I've passed by countless times and noted the parking lot is often near full of RI plated vehicles. This is a good clue that an establishment deserves a closer look. Cindy's is a bright and cheerful diner and we had our choice of tables as the morning rush was past. We both had a cup of coffee, very good. I had a short stack (2) of blueberry pancakes and a side of home fries. My son had an omelet with cheese, onions and peppers. The omelet was light and fluffy (baked?), the home fries are of the Red Bliss variety and nicely done. My pancakes were plate sized and quite good too. The service was quick and pleasant and the prices are reasonable. Definitely a step above your usual breakfast diner fare.

“Fantastic Breakfast & Nice People”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 23, 2011

Leaving Newport heading back to Massachusetts and swung into Cindy's for breakfast. The New England Benedict (sliced pork, granny smith apples, onions with hollandaise, etc) was incredible. The tailgate omelet was loaded with cheeseburger, bacon and tomato. The homefries were real cut potatoes. The people cooking and serving were friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely return.

“You need a forklift to leave this restaurant....”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 21, 2011

At Cindy's you don't go away hungry. The locals know about this diner. Sit at the breakfast bar or in the dining area. I ordered an Omelet with Italian sausage, pesto, tomato and spinanch....par excellance. My wife ordered the special--raspberry French Toast, the large order. She was going to share it with her daughter-in-law, who also ordered a Philly Cheese Steak omelet. The raspberry French Toast were large enough to feed our entire party of 6. The coffee was also exceptional. The cups were nearly the size of beach pails. Service was great and the prices were very reasonable. To show that Cindy's goes the extra step, our fantastic and vivacious waitress retrieved our grand daughter's sun glasses and flagged us us down in the parking lot.
