We stopped here on our way from Connecticut to Duxbury, Mass. We had seen Cindy's on our way to MA and made a point of planning our trip back to include lunch here. Even from the outside it looked like the diners we loved in the past. The food is old fashion: Boiled dinner (to New Englanders that means corned beef, cabbage & potatoes), meatloaf, pot roast and clams. Although we did not have any dessert, the apple pie was one of the most delicious looking pies I've seen in a long time. One man at the next booth was having a slice of chocolate cake that could have served 3. Service was prompt and very friendly. Very good value for money.

The decor is great. Red and sparkly gray vinyl on the booths and red on the chairs and counter stools. The only things missing were jukebox stations at each table! By tthe way, we did not realize that there was a North Scituate in Rhode Island: this is on Route 6 a few miles off I-295.

We stopped here on our way home from Mohegan Sun for breakfast and loved it. It was exactly what you would think a diner should look like with it's retro 50's looking decor and neon pink sign.

The food was just the kind of comfort food you look for in a diner. I got the special Chunky Monkey Pancakes (amazzzzzing) and my husband got Stuffed French Toast.

We plan on eating here everytime we go to Mohegan in the future. Definitely try it!
