i found the beach to be very clean as well as the facilities. It appears to be very well maintained. Many lifeguards and staff on duty. Tried this beach fbecause my mother is getting up in age and found it was much calmer with no under toe like Misquamicut.

Clean beach, no seaweed, no rocks, smooth sand and clear water. Excellent for boogie boards! Showers, bathrooms and dressing rooms on site. Cost us $20 to park since we are out of state, but worth it!

the beach is beautiful with close parking, food, bathrooms and showers.
it does get really busy, so go early in morning so you can leave around 12 30 as the crowd comes pouring in.

the parking is very expensive and you can no longer park on side streets unless you have a permit.

if you are a person who likes to walk the beach and check out things, then u should check out the walk along the rocks at the far left side of the beach. this walk has a path and you can climb along the rocks and check out the small pools of water that are filled with crabs and snails....some are even good to soak your feet in. (make sure to bring some drinking water, the walk is a great spot to soak up some sun but you burn easy so bring some sun block for the walk back)

We visited in the off season but it's beautiful stretch of beach and I'm sure that it must be very popular in-season. Nice facilities too.

There is a sewer pipe that empties on the far left side of the beach. It's too bad because it is a large beach with a nice bathhouse and snack bar facility. But there are other beaches with consistently good water quality, so why risk it? Since a lot of teens and younger crowd folks go here, there may be a squirmish or two.
