We went to Rhode Island for our son's graduation from the University of Rhode Island. We knew the graduation was going to be in May, but my husband and I were preoccupied with other family matters. Then in April we had to come up with a place to stay and a place to host our son's graduation dinner. We talked to several restaurants and they were booked or expensive. I heard the The Tower House hosted special events. We called and although the rooms were booked up they were able to do this special event. MaryBeth and Chris could not have been more helpful. We wanted a traditional New England dinner. The menu was complete with lobsters that were caught that morning! The food, atmosphere, service, and timing were impecable. We had lobster, clams, mussles, steak, sausage, corn, potatoes, appetizers, dessert, coffee for a reasonable price. There were 18 people for dinner and the house was warm and welcoming. Of those 18 there were 4 young children and 3 teens. Eveeryone had something to do while the adults talked. There were toys for the young children and the teens were outside on the beautiful grounds talking and playing soccer. I want to thank MaryBeth and Chris for a memorable time and delicious food and great service. I would stay there next time while visiting our son, who is now a RI ender and would hold another special event there again. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Oh, my Aunt and Uncle gave us a gift certificate to stay there in the future, can't wait!

We spent one night at the Tower Hill B & B enjoying our stay in the Taylor room. We were met by Mary Beth upon our arrival and see made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked through the door. See gave us a tour of the rooms available and we found this very helpful as were looking for a place to stay when our son gets married in Narragansett.

The room was very comfortable and the little extras like bottled water, chocolates, nuts and fruit were a nice touch. We attended the evening cheese and crackers, beer and wine social and meet with Mary Beth and another couple staying at the Tower House. It was nice to feel so comfortable and relaxed enjoying the many amenities available.

After a enjoyable night's sleep we were meet for breakfast by Mary Beth. Breakfast include Eggs Benedict, French toast, bacon, yogurt, muffins, fruit, coffee and Orange Juice. The breakfast was fantastic and got us fueled up for our days activities.

We would highly recommend the Tower House B & B to anyone staying in the Narragansett area. Very comfortable home and friendly inn keepers will make your stay enjoyable.

I have stayed at other bed and breakfast in the past. However, these hosts surpass them all. They welcomed you as with so much warmth, that you immediately felt as part of the family. Yet, they encouraged you to rest and relax so that you may enjoy your stay to the fullest. There was such peace in that home, that it was automatic for you to feel relaxed. The accommodations were very spacious and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. There are two luxurious bathrobes in the room for the guest to wear . I especially enjoyed the coffee and tea service with the newspaper outside of my door in the early a.m. The candle light breakfast in the dining room with classical music in the background was so serene as you're enjoying the full breakfast; which was delicious. The hostess went out of her way to make the stay as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. Even upon our departure they were still catering to our needs. I highly recommend a beautiful and peaceful stay at the Tower House. I definitely experienced a haven of peace.

Spacious and grand B&B in a great location with old world charm. The home is a beautifully furnished historic house. We stayed in the Caldwell Room which was in fact a two-room suite with an extremely large, modern bathroom. The many windows gave views of the gardens below. The large bed was extremely comfortable with a super soft white duvet. Service was impeccable. Mary Beth and her husband Christopher were wonderful hosts and are genuinely committed to provide their guests with a relaxing, pampered stay.
The evening cocktail hour, sumptuous breakfast and even a picnic lunch, if requested, all combine to make Tower House a B&B to savor and recommend to all who visit the Narragansett/Newport region of Rhode Island.

My friend selected this place for us to go away for the weekend. I work in NYC and needed a quiet and serene place to relax and unwind. The Tower House Bed & Breakfast was the perfect place to stay. This Victorian house, with its antique furniture, beautiful pictures and decor, was warm, cozy and very welcoming. The innkeeper, Marybeth, made us feel so at home. We were greeted with wine, cheese and crackers. The Caldwell room in which we stayed was spacious and extremely comfortable. Marybeth also provided bathrobes for us which were velvety soft and a real treat. In the morning outside our room, coffee, tea and newspaper were provided. Our breakfast was a banquet in my opinion. Pancakes, quiche, bacon, whole grain bread, assorted juices, coffee, tea, and fruit were served. However, no matter how wonderful all this was, because it truly was, the most important factor that I must emphasize is the grace, warmth, and hospitality from the innkeepers. This is truly what made our stay so delightful. Thank you Marybeth and Chris for making our stay such a memorable one. We will call you very soon to book our next getaway.

My Dad and I pitched up at the Tower House B&B after he happened upon co-owner Chris while we were staying in nearby Newport and wondering where to head next on our week-long travels. A night there on the way back to New York seemed just the ticket. We're so glad we did.

Of all the places we stayed, Tower House B&B was the most memorable and enjoyable. As other reviewers have mentioned, Mary Beth is an outstanding host. We arrived at 4pm, saw that they offered a dinner and jumped at the idea of good, home-cooked food. But I thought it already a little late in the day to be asking for someone to suddenly rustle up a four-course meal especially for us. Yet it wasn't. Mary Beth and Chris cooked us a delicious dinner, and made the whole evening feel special for my Dad and me.

What sets this place apart is a superb mix of attention to detail and effortless charm. From the beautiful, inviting furnishings to the super-comfy bed I had that night, everything in the house is there to be touched, used, lived; and conversations with your hosts and fellow guests explored.

Best of all was the experience of waking up in the morning, to find a newspaper outside my door, a pot of coffee on the landing, and the smell of bacon wafting from the kitchen below. And that was before the most amiable experience of wandering leisurely down to breakfast for a veritable feast.

It is the best kind of B&B, and one which, in today's world, is increasingly hard to find. People like Mary Beth and Chris don't come around so often. Have the pleasure of staying with them if you can.

I highly recommend Tower House B&B in Narragansett, Rhode Island! The B&B is very comfortable, peaceful and charming. The owner, Mary Beth, welcomed us upon our arrival, gave us a tour of the rooms and let us choose which one we wanted. 2 of my daughters, ages 27 and 22 were with me, and we decided to stay in the Earle suite. The connected 2 rooms were very convenient. The beds were so comfortable, the linens were luxurious, the carpets were thick, the temperature was adjustable and the furniture was charming. There was a flat screen tv in both rooms, which we didn't even turn on. The bathroom, which was private and right next to the bedrooms, was very clean, with thick bathrobes and towels. Mary Beth and Chris were so friendly and accommodating, and helped us with suggestions of places to see and directions. After an evening out, our family sat in their parlor by the fireplace and enjoyed the privacy to catch "Dad" up on the day using our speaker phone. Mary Beth brought out a tray with teas, cookies and offered us wine. After a wonderful night's sleep, the next morning breakfast was served at a time agreed upon the evening before, and was plentiful and delicious! Fresh fruit, cereal, fresh bagels, omelets and Mary Beth's signature scrumptious french toast!
We enjoyed the accommodations very much, and also appreciated the welcoming attention received by Mary Beth and Chris! I highly recommend the Tower House B&B!
