Owner description: Sweet Berry Farm is a post-and-beam farm market and café situated on 100 acres of conserved farmland. We are located only a short distance from downtown Newport and the island's beaches. From our market we sell our own freshly grown seasonal fresh fruits, vegetables, cut flowers, as well as a variety of gourmet and specialty foods. The pick-your-own season spans from June through December. Our barn and orchard offer two picturesque settings for your wedding or special event.

“Recommended by our B&B for lunch!”
Reviewed June 28, 2013

We stopped here for lunch after walking the Ocean Trail at Sachuest Point. They had a nice variety of cold salads, sandwiches, soups, baked goods and ice cream. Also fresh produce and juicy red strawberries which we had for breakfast at our B&B.

“We love the food, the view & the atmosphere”
Reviewed June 3, 2013

Hot and cold lunch available along with drinks and a snack. Eat indoors or outside at the bistro tables. Everything I have had here so far, soup, sandwiches, cookies & salads have all been so good. Not your basic turkey and cheese. The sandwiches can be basic, but there are great varieties as well like southwest chicken.

There is a large pretty room that can be rented out for functions and nice outdoor areas to walk around or enjoy a picnic.

There is a small grocery side to the farm. They carry a lot of natural, organic and local far. Love it here and wish I lived just a little bit closer.

If visiting Newport Rhode Island this summer, Sweetberry farm an excellent place to visit. Wonderful selection of foods and Farm foods. Events for the children often scheduled. Autumn an amazing time to visit. Slightly pricey for some foods but very natural selections

“Upscale and full of good stuff”
Reviewed October 24, 2012

A working farm the Sweet Berry store is far more than a farmstand as it includes the store, a self-service cafe and lots of take home prepared foods.

The space is inviting and worth spending the extra pennies items might cost.

“Nice spot, a little pricy”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

Good for interesting and high quality fruits & veggies, also for sandwiches and deli offerings.

Kind of on the expensive side - careful shoppers can do better
