“Barn with Flurries”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 21, 2013

The "Three Amigos" stopped by the Barn for breakfast last week and arrived as the first snow flurries of the season fell softly to the ground. It was cozy inside and our server was welcoming and upbeat, when we asked a few questions about the tempting menu. I had Eggs Benedict and it was perfectly prepared and delicious, as were the home made home fries. My BFFs had a waffle with fruit and eggs with chourico and both were fab. As locals, we like the Barn in the fall because we were the only diners there for at least a half hour, and by the time we left there were only 2 other tables occupied. We also enjoyed the "endless" cups of coffee, and admired works by local artists which look great in the rustic setting. They are open all year, except for Thanksgiving and Christmas!

“Country breakfast”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2013

Our trip to the Barn took longer than we thought it would but as theres only one menu which contained mostly breakfast times, we were happy. So few places have jonnycakes on the menu that i order them whenever i see them. They were as good as any i have had...very thin, lacey. It was a cold windy day and the HOT chocolate hit the spot. My husband ordered the eggs with Chirica.
He also was very happy with his food. It was a bit crowded with all tables occupied and crowded. As i ordered some sides to go with the jonnycakes, the price was a bit high. If all had been included as an item, it would have been less.

“excellent breakfast fare”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2013

The Barn has consistent quality and a wide variety of choices for breakfast in a rustic country setting. Be prepared for a wait on weekends as it is a very popular spot for tourists and locals. In the summer they have a lovely patio for eating outdoors.

They have a very wide range of breakfast selections. Their oatmeal is a large portion with apples, raisins, and nuts. They have several varieties of breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, omelets and more. There are always several specials of the day as well. Their homemade corned beef hash is very good with lots of onion, green pepper, potato, and corned beef. Johnny cakes are a New England specialty that are made from white corn meal and are usually eaten with butter or maple syrup.

One of my favorite breakfasts at the Barn is Blackstone Benedict. It consists of two poached eggs on English muffins, with bacon and tomato, covered with Hollandaise sauce.

The Barn is a great place to bring guests to sample a wide range of traditional and creative breakfast choices in a quaint country atmosphere located in the scenic small rural village of Adamsville, RI.

“Awesome quaint breakfast spot”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 26, 2013

This was my first time to The Barn and it was awesome! It is a cute place not on a main road which makes the atmopshere so much better. I had a special omelet with eggs, spinach, onion, chicken apple sausage and greyure cheese. It was probably one of the best omelets I've had. My breakfast companions also love the spot as they go there often. The coffee is great and the oj is superb. I will definitely be back to The Barn. The dining room is small and you may have to wait, when we were finishing up there was a line down the side of the building (thank goodness for us!). It's definitely worth the wait. I did not think the prices were too expensive but perhaps for the area it is more than the average restaurant.

GO here!
