Flametree Tourist Village

The unpowered tent spots are under what must be the busiest airport in australia. Like right under. Helicopters galore. No serenity. Was under the impression wifi was for paying guests but after checkig in was told it is additional cost. Shower and toilet block pretty festy.

Disappointed you did not enjoy Our Park. Yes there is a small airport adjoining with small scenic flights & closes approx 5.30pm. We prefer this to neighbours (no fights or loud music). We have no major thoroughfare or highway nearby - hence a quiet park.
Most parks charge for wi-fi - certainly all in town.
While the amenity block is besser-brick, it has been completely gutted & refurbished as per "star-rating" guidelines. We are frequently complimented on these & how well they are maintained - they are however communal.
That we get an enormous amount of "on-road" referrals from our customers is a testament to the park.
I certainly wish you all the best for your trip.
Best Regards - Joe

We spent 2 nights at flame-tree-campground in April 2012 and enjoyed it very much!
It`s like a botanic garden, a little creek running thru the area, very scenic.
Everything was good, kitchen as clean, showers and toilets o.k.,peole friendly when checking in.
If we come back to Airie beach we`ll go there again!
(Please excuse my bad English, I´m from Germany)
