When I lived in Jamestown, I would bike here every morning and watch the sun come up. The park was deserted and peaceful. In the summer it gets crowded, but there is lots of parking. Bring a chair and picnic and enjoy the ocean.

The views of the ocean are spectacular. The grounds are kept up very well, You can fish off the rocks and actually catch fish. I find it a very relaxing spot.

We went to Beavertail in the fall and it was well worth the drive t reach it. Beautiful views and a good walking circuit suitable for all. Highly recommended.

We saw several lighthouses on our trip to RI/MA and this was our favorite. We liked that you could walk right up to it if you wanted to. The surrounding shoreline was beautiful. We spent a lot of time walking around on the rocks. We also enjoyed the history since it's American's Third Oldest Lighthouse.

If you want to see a nice lighthouse on a beautiful setting put this one on your list. It's not to be missed!
