This B&B is just over the bridge from Newport RI. It is a quiet and clean and has a very friendly owners. The breakfasts each morning are made to order. We stayed here 3 days while visiting Newport and Watch Hill. Super nice owners who suggested some very good local restaurants. It is a 5 minute walk down to the harbor to watch the SUNSETS!! Treat yourself!!

If you are in the area this is the place to stay!! Diane and Paul are perfect hosts and the inn is fabulous. Numerous extras are provided in your room including 2 bottles of water, 2 cookies, and chocolate by your bed. The breakfast is unbelievably delicious. The grilled banana bread is to die for along with Apple pancakes, bacon, fruit, coffe, and juice (this was the breakfast served the day we were at the inn). All of the rooms are located upstairs. Our room had a king bed with several windows, and a nice bathroom with walk in shower. The inn is decorated exceptionally well and very clean. Location is perfect as you will park free at the inn and can walk everywhere in the small unique town of Jamestown. If visiting Newport, it is a short ten minute drive across the bridge. We have stayed in several inns throughout the last several years and this is one of our favorites and I wish we could have stayed longer than one night. An excellent choice if you stay here

Room Tip: All of the rooms are located on the second floor. I saw three of them and they all would be a good choice

This was now our 5th extended stay at East Bay and our opinion of this fine B&B has not changed. It is a beautiful B&B with delicious breakfasts and evening treats. Paul & Diane even accommodate my wife's gluten allergy.Everything about East Bay is first class. The rooms are comfortable, spotless, quiet and nicely appointed.
As for Jamestown it is a quiet oasis from the crowd of Newport. There are a number of parks on the island in which to relax in the sun & water.
The fine restaurants and live music in town are just a short walk from East Bay as is the ferry to Newport when you want more variety in food, drink & music. It is also convenient that the ferry runs until late evening.
With out a doubt we will return in 2017!

Room Tip: All rooms are quiet and some are a bit larger than others but all are nicely appointed.

We spent three nights and didn't want to leave. Diane and Paul were the perfect hosts being friendly but not overbearing. Breakfasts were delicious. Our room spacious, comfy and so clean. One of the best B&B's we have visited. A perfect location to explore Jamestown and its historic parks and we thoroughly enjoyed walking to the ferry at the end of the block which took us to Newport. We did this two days and loved exploring, shopping, eating and walking around Newport. A wonderful three days

My husband and I just finished our third stay at East Bay Bed and Breakfast and were once again impressed by this lovely little B&B. Both the rooms we have stayed in have been immaculate and very comfortable, with many thoughtful amenities, like an in-room fridge with bottled water provided daily. Both beds were wonderfully cozy (where does Diane get those amazing sheets?). The bathrooms are roomy and have been recently redone. Breakfasts are tasty and portion sizes are perfect. Finally, Diane and Paul, the innkeepers, are delightful. We loved our visit and look forward to many more in the future.
