This was our first visit to the East Greenwich location after several trips to Federal Hill. Restaurant is in a plaza (very convenient to Benny's) with free parking, but no valet.
We arrived on a Friday about 6:15 and the place was already hopping, but the noise level was moderate.
The food is excellent. We split the Balsamic Calamari and I tried each of the three entrees in our party. The menu may not be as creative as Al Forno, but the quality and presentation is great.
We had an eager, beaver young server and service was prompt and efficient, but not the great level of service that I have experienced at a few outstanding places.
Our dinner included three glasses of wine, one appetizer, one salad, three meat entries, two desserts, coffee and tea and came to $160 with tip. So expect $50 plus person. Note that pasta dishes will keep the bill down.
One of the best takes in RI along with Al Forno, Las Masseria, and Pane & Vino.
