“Just another pizza joint”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 30, 2008

lip89 had it right. It's an over rated, unfriendly, run of the mill sandwich shop. I live within walking distance and most of the time I'd rather just drive right by to Subway or somewhere else.

Cumberland natives for the most part wouldn't know a good restaurant if it bit 'em in the behind. Skip the pizza unless you like greasy cardboard (typical Greek "House of" fare).

The chicken parm sangwich wasn't bad. Not a patty ;)

Sum it up...........just OK.

“Best lasagna”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 9, 2008

I don't go to CHOPS for the personalities(I don't think they're angry-just serious. It's the same family that's owned it forever and I don't think I've ever seen any one of them smile-they can't be that angry!) Anyway, the food is great. My family loves their pizza and I find the lasagna the best, bar none. Even better than home made and you get a very generous portion. If I have one complaint, it's their allowing small children in the lounge area. Maybe if they had wait service in the main dining room, they could avoid that. So I guess I rate it a 9 out of 10. Just try it and decide for yourself. We love it!

“Overrated place recommended by locals but run of the mill bad food/service”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 26, 2008

On a main road in this small town north of Providence is a place recommended by all the locals for great pizza and great sandwiches. What it amounts to is a dumpy restaurant with a nasty bar area with awful food and bad service. The awards on the walls must be made up because this place couldn't make a good pizza to save it's life. It is crowded and popular because it is the only tink in this town of three restaurants to eat. the staff is a bunch of kids that don't know what they are doing and screw up the orders and have no personalities. The bar area (why they have one is anyones guess) is all scary people that look like regulars. Go a little farther down the road and you will hit about 10 better restaurants that are worth the time and your hard earned money.

“Cumberland classic, but...”

Cumberland classic, but it's a bit greasy. Calzones are good though.
