“Worth Seeking Out.”
Reviewed October 9, 2013 via mobile

Food and service to match a great building. Very attentive staff and half portions available for those of us who can't manage massive entrees. The fish chowder was one of the very best I have eaten. A worthy competitor for some of Providence's best restaurants.

“Fabulous restaurant, one of the best in Cranston”
Reviewed October 7, 2013

Chapel Grille is absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere is amazing. Hence the name "Chapel Grille", this restaurant was built in an old church, giving it the perfect atmosphere. This restaurant is very roomy and has beautiful outdoor seating during the summer. You would never guess you were in a parking lot. The staff if amazing, catering to your every need. Everyone has a smilie on their face, witch makes your meal that much more enjoyable. The menu contains very unique dishes witch are surprisingly delicious. I love the petite lamb chops and the wedge salad. I also enjoy it when the server brings you different olive oils with your bread. There are four kinds of olive oil that come from for different parts of the world; California, Greece, Italy, and Spain. My personal favorite is the olive oil from Spain. My only complaint would be the prices. The food is exquisite, but some of the prices are ridiculous. This aside, Chapel Grille is definitely worth four stars

“Nice atmosphere in the bar”
Reviewed October 1, 2013 via mobile

We enjoy sitting in the bar area since it is a little more lively than the dining rooms. Outdoor seating cannot be reserved, so you need to go and wait for a table to open. The food is pretty good, but the atmosphere is why we come. There is a decent selection of drinks and wine. The menu offers smaller plates that are a perfect size for a light dinner. The prices are comparable to other restaurants in this category. Parking is never a problem. We went this past weekend and surprisingly, there was no wait for a table.

Just 15 minutes or so outside of Providence, heading towards Warwick, RI is Cranston...the home of the Chapel Grille. This restaurant is fantastic!! The huge bar is covered with an antique kind of glass, lit from below.
There are 5 different rooms to choose from. The Indoor-Outdoor room was jammed on a Sunday evening, and pretty noisy. We chose a very quiet room inside. All of these rooms are very large. This is a big restaurant! The decor is immaculate and attractive.
All of the employees were efficient and VERY friendly, starting at the location where we "checked-in." The waitstaff was knowledgable and helpful.
The menu was very large and eclectic. Many of entrees could be ordered in half-size for those of smaller appetites. I had the tuna special, which was prepared to perfection, just slightly seared!
The desserts were appealing to the eye, but, like the appetizers and main courses, were delicious.
I expected to be knocked over by the bill. But with a drink, split salad, main course, and coffee with split dessert, the tab came to $60 per person, including tip.
This is a wonderful dining experience for a special occasion.
Run, do not walk to this wonderful restaurant! I guarantee you'll love it!!
