The Coventry Hampton Inn was the final stop on our East Coast journey. The hotel is located just off the interstate and near food and shopping. It was extremely clean throughout. Our king room on the second floor was spacious and featured a very comfortable bed, a sizable refrigerator, high ceilings with crown molding and a nice bathroom. We enjoyed a quiet nice sleep, which we appreciated. For those looking to watch TV, this hotel features an abundance of cable channels to choose from, including several movie channels. The staff was very professional and assisted us with local seafood restaurant choices. The breakfast was very good. We didn't use the pool or fitness area, but the facilities looked very nice. I would recommend this hotel if you are visiting this area. Plus, the price was right!

I stayed at this location for a wedding party and the staff was very helpful. Overall, during a stressful weekend, it was a pleasure not having to worry about personal accommodations. The hotel was clean and I felt very safe. The hotel was in great central location (not too far from Newport or the family I was visiting) and the continental breakfast wasn't bad either!

We stayed here for 5 nights during a trip to New England.
The room was comfy and clean but the bathroom sink (room 302) was cracked.
We had to defrost the replacement fridge as we could get nothing in the ice box.
The bedding was awful, in the lifts are pictures of duvets and pressed pillowcases, on the beds it's a different matter. The pillowcases have not seen an iron , not pressed and the sheets are not pressed. The duvet has basically no filling in its pockets, this should have been discarded long ago. What is the housekeeper doing? Why has the chambermaid not brought this to her attention?
I feel that the whole structure needs attention, training needs to be done and if staff don't speak English why can't they have a list in both languages this would help the guest enormously.
The towels and flannels are also rather worn and grey.
Spoke to two members of staff latterly Sydney, " I'm sorry" is, frankly not enough.
We make many long trips to the USA and this is by far the worst so much so that I wonder should we change our allegiance ?
Also why should a guest have to bring these points to managements notice? I came here on holiday not to do a quality audit.

Room Tip: I really don't think that anywhere else in the hotel would be very different.

We called about 2 hours before since we were ready to get off of I95 and relax. They were efficient and friendly and very helpful with other Hampton Inn that we might be able to use. Breakfast was great and the price was good too.

Standard Hampton Inn. Reasonable price for staying outside Newport but more expensive than same quality elsewhere. Convenient yo I-95. Beds clean and comfortable. Saturday am of Labor Day weekend - breakfast was crowded. Long line for the one waffle maker, Bathroom not the cleanest. Pool very heavily chlorinated - the smell permeated well into the ground floor area.

Being originally from Rhode Island I try to get home when I can. In this case it was not a vacation. My older sister is in poor health. I needed a Hotel that was close to her home. We had stayed in this hotel in the past. It had lived up to what I expected out of a Hampton Inn. Not only was it convient but there were good resturants just a short walk away. I would not hesitate to recommend it to family and friends. The staff was polite and helpful. The included breakfast gave us a good start to the day. My favorite drink, coffee was available 24 hours a day. I would not hesitate to say, It's Hampton Inn. That covers it.

No problems with anything and very nice experience at the Hampton Inn!!! Clean facility, excellent breakfast choices for complimentary breakfast, very nice staff. Nice pool, Jacuzzi, and work out room.
