This museum details some of the major contributions of Bristol
mariners and boat designers in pursuit of the America Cup, in lucid photo displays. In a large adjacent storage room, dozens of beautiful craft, some of incredibly large dimensions, are displayed, some with walk-thru access. Souvenirs and books are
available in the museum.

Great museum. We spent more than hour there and thought it was a nice little museum. It was open on the 4th of July and we visited while we were waiting for the Bristol 4th of July Parade which is the oldest parade in the United States. If you are ever in Newport for the 4th of July, this parade is not to be missed! Bring chair or a blanket and enjoy the day!
