We eat at different restaurants every Sunday after church. Red Lobster used to one of our favorites, but not after yesterday. The music was so loud that we had to literally shout our order to our server and we had to shout to each other to have a conversation. We asked for the "music" to be lowered, but if it was, we did not perceive it. My husband ordered a favorite of his, fried catfish and I ordered fried shrimp with French Fries. We both ordered a salad. My blue cheese dressing on the side tasted like ranch with a lump of something in it. Not at all like blue cheese should taste. It was in a cup that was slopped into the bowl and it dribbled down the sides of the cups in both of our salads making for a very messy dressing application. My husband's fish was mostly breading and he was quite disappointed. My fries were tasteless and resembled wood in appearance. He ordered hot tea at $2.30 a cup and, when he got 1/3 of the way through drinking it, a big dirty spot of caked on crud became visible on the inside side of the cup! He pushed it aside, very turned off. At the end of the meal, we showed the cup to the waitress and she asked if he wanted another cup but, when he declined, she never offered to take it off the bill. I had to ask her to do that. With so many restaurants in the area, we are not likely to try this one again for a long, long time.
