The York Central Market is a collection of food vendors and dry good vendors. It was very busy but not overly crowded, at least while we were there. Some vendors were closed as we arrived some time after 5 PM but there were still enough to browse and buy stuff.

the other is the Harley Davidson plant which you can visit.
But the market is definitely worth a visit and if you are lucky you can find
some second hand stuff

Lots of stalls with fresh, local products. Artists, food booths, produce, meats are all crowded into the open hall with narrow passageways in between. We got local honey and maple syrup at one place, and a charming bouquet of fresh garden flowers at another. (Went on the Saturday morning of the Fine Arts Festival down the street.)

My experience here was wonderful! I had a great sub at Henry's. I had a great breakfast at the entrance...they serve full beakfasts. I bought a lot of lunch meats, fruits, vegetables, and gifts to bring back home. I wish I lived close to go every week. We have nothing like this in the area of SWPA that I live in. WOW! Good for York for supporting the local farms and businesses!

More than half of the vendors weren’t open, but we expected that. It was nice walking around the block to see the rest of 5he downtown and what they put on in the streets. All in all, not bad.

I absolutely love going and getting fresh fruit and vegetables. I have an advantage and can go weekly to get my lunch because I work downtown. The market house is a beautiful historical building that was recently renovated.

Central Market is where it says it is, in the middle of York PA. The Market has a variety of eateries, fried (deep) chicken, ice cream, spices, jellies, coffee shops, various veggies, and even a small brewery, distillery, fish market, sushi, sandwiches. You can gorge on Greek, Japanese, Puerto Rican, and some central PA specialties. You should stop in, and maybe hear someone playing music live. Enjoy.

Stumbled across this on a rainy day while camping. Great food selections also enjoyed tasting wine, beer, and alcohol. Definitely will stop in again if in the area.
