“Gotta go do this tour”

This was fun, and great to see how the bikes are made. It was not just a film and pictures, you get to go see it all in progress. The gift shop is great too. I went for the sake of my Harley loving husband and came out wanting a bike :)

“Check it out, even if not into bikes”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2012

Husband and I are both bike lovers. Came to York specifically to go through HD tour and we weren't disappointed. Tour guide very knowledgeable and you really get a great over view of the plant and actual building of the bikes. You can take the Steel Toe paid tour which seems a bit pricey. We didn't and quite frankly, the free tour was thorough enough that we really doubted we would have seen appreciably more on the paid tour.. Even if you don't bike, or are bikers that don't ride an HD, believe you would enjoy this American success story and see the beautiful bikes being built. If you are an HD biker, there is a gift shop there with substantially better merchandise prices than you will find at the individual dealers.

“Lucky! 2012 Open House and didn't know it”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2012

Went over for a factory tour and happened to be there on Open House. I truly enjoyed seeing "The Motor Company" up close and sure enough, all the equipment used to build the bikes looks like it's American too. Way to go H-D. No pics in the plant though.

“Do not miss this free tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2012

Well organized, well thought out and free. Nice facility and you learn a lot. We had to wait for 1 1/2 hours due to a bus tour ahead of us, but it was worth it.
