“Top notch beer, decent pub food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2013

I was pleasantly surprised at the high quality of beer found in Williamsport. The range of beers and the overal quality was impressive. The Edgar Allen IPA was particularly good, though you should not have more than one.
The food was decent, standard pub food that hit the spot.

“Great place...and I am not even a beer drinker!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 8, 2013

Visited the Bullfrog two nights in a row--first night for drinks and the second for dinner. What a great place! Great atmosphere! Wednesday night is Jazz night--live music. My friends loved the beers that they tried. For someone who doesn't like beer, they have a great menu of mixed drinks. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Lots of different options to be found on their menu. The fish and chips is excellent and enough for two people to split. I'd definitely return.

“Good light beer”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2013

I was a little saddened that there weren't any dark beers on the menu. However, the beers I tried were all pretty good. I finally settled on the Segundo, mainly because it was a little off the wall. I just killed the growler that I bought of it, and I relished every drop. I didn't get food, because they were super busy. We couldn't get a table, and split with just the growler. My only reservation about this place is the price. I don't know what a pint costs, but a growler was 25 bucks...

“What Every Brewpub Needs: Great Beer & Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2013

We've been stopping here for lunch and brews for many years. If you like a hoppy beer, try the Edgar IPA. If you don't like hops they have several other good selections. The food is good-an entrée or specialty salad is large enough to share. Combine that with the fantastic clam chowder served on Fridays and you've got a great meal (don't forget the beer). There's live entertainment in the evenings that always sounds interesting. Wait staff is very friendly. Prices are comparable with other brewpubs. This is one brewpub I always recommend to friends visiting the area.

“Ribbit!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2013

I've been going to the Bullfrog for a couple of years now and have never been disappointed with either food or drink. Something non-alcoholic...try the root beer very good but the Edgar IPA is excellent. The menu has something for every taste and the service is great. If I'm there, it's usually for lunch and everything is great and the waitstaff hussle. Don't forget the tip!
