“One of my Favorites”

Bullfrog always has great beers on tap with a great menu. It is a little more expensive for food, compared to other brew-pubs in the region but it is consistently good with great service.

“This brewpub in north-central Pennsylvania gets my vote!”

I'd long heard of Bullfrog Brewery and since I was in town for a wedding at the weekend, decided to check it out. It's downtown, on W. 4th Street (one-way), opposite the Community Arts Center, and easy to find as you make your way off the highway; it's about 90 minutes south of the New York State border. I got there at the end of Sunday brunch, so service was a tad slow, but wow did the burger/fries plate make up for it. Absolutely delicious and huge portion (I managed to finish the whole thing, it was so good). All the plates that went by had equally generous portions and fresh, attractive food on them. The place was packed, the jazz was just right, not overpowering. All the servers were friendly and balanced a professional attitude with nice smiles. The food is locally sourced as much as possible.
Please support this brewpub in an area hard-hit by economic downswing: its staff is really trying to make a difference and a go of it!

“Great pub. Try the pasta and sausage”

Nice pub. Great microbrew and menu. I tried the penne and sausage entree. It was so good that I got it the next night again.

“Bullfrog Brewery--one of the best in town.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 14, 2013

We have been eating at Bullfrog Brewery for the past 3 years while my child attends college in Williamsport. We can't stay and not have a Beer Flight (all necessary info about taste and alcohol content on a blackboard behind the bar) and a pretzel and cheese dip appetizer. The burgers are outstanding, as well as the parmesan crusted chicken cutlet entree.

“Great brewpub with awesome food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 6, 2013 via mobile

We've only stopped here once en route back to upstate NY, but had seen the sign off rte 15. We had brunch on a Sunday afternoon, and got the bonus of great jazz music too. For brunch we had the smoked salmon Benedict and huevos rancheros and both were incredibly delicious. I like that they try to source a lot of ingredients locally too. I also tried the Dip Sticke Altbier which was tasty... looking forward to going back the next time we drive through the area.
