“Tops in Williamsport..........”
Reviewed February 17, 2011

We are locals so we have eaten at all the restaurants on the Williamsport Trip
Advisor list. Without a doubt, 33 East is the top restaurant in Williamsport.

This place makes sure that everyone has a great experience. The beef filet is the best I have had, ever. The grouper dish is superb. They have a lobster dip which is to-die-for. Sometimes they offer a "mixed grill" which features 3 different filets - this dish is fabulous. We have been coming to 33 East for many years and they have been consistently excellent. They have a wonderful wine list and of course our favorite, Kendall Jackson, is on it. Their atmosphere, wait staff and gourmet food is perfect.

Plus they have a trendy bar where I like to enjoy a martini before dinner.

We highly recommend 33 East.

“Best in town”
Reviewed May 27, 2010

I have thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant on both visits. The menu is not huge but has something for everyone – seafood, chicken, pasta, steaks, all of which is very tasty. Side dishes are great, and the service is fantastic. It’s one of the pricier restaurants in Williamsport (say $21-$29 per entrée, plus sides/drinks/dessert), but it is worth it. I certainly recommend a visit.

“World-class food with a warm & easy atmosphere”
Reviewed September 30, 2009

We were astonished at the quality of Thirty-Three East. Williamsport was just an overnight stop on a trip further south. We did not expect much from a restaurant in this small town. Our dinner was so good we made a point of stopping on our way home so we could eat there again - and were equally pleased with our second meal at 33 East.

The cooking is utterly honest. Each dish is designed to reveal the real flavors of its ingredients rather than masked by exotic saucing and strange combinations. The sensibility is the same as the very best classic French cooking

Our server was warm, easy-going and very knowledgable about both food and wine.

Williamsport is worth a stop just to eat at this restaurant..

“Excellent food, atmosphere, and service.”
Reviewed August 9, 2009

Visiting from Virginia, and traveling with a four year old. It looked too grown up, but the owner was very friendly and invited us in. We couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. The food was absolutely outstanding. Everything was fresh and uniquely prepared - a bit different from most generic restaurants, but better. For example, the "french fries" were wedges made from red potatoes, very nicely cooked, and served in a basket resembling a vase. The pizza was made with a foccacia crust, fresh basil, and a good mix of cheeses. The garlic mashed potatoes were made with real potatoes, and lots of real garlic. It was pricey, but the portions were very good. My only regret is that my stomach wasn't larger.

“Best dining experience in Williamsport”
Reviewed March 15, 2008

I am very surprised to see that this is not the #1 or #2 restaurant in Williamsport. Check out their website: [--]
If you're visiting and looking for a nice dining experience, this is the place to go. Servers are very pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable about all of the dishes and wine. Food is delicious. Be aware that it is one of the more expensive restaurants in Williamsport, but if you're used to dining in a large city, you'll be pleasantly surprised 33 East's value for the quality of food. I recommend ordering anything that's the day's special.
If you're not going to dine, at least stop in and enjoy a cocktail in the very cool lounge area.
