This restaurant is not in the best part of town, but the neighborhood is slowly getting a facelift. The restaurant has 3 doors along a stretch of sidewalk, but only one (the middle) is used as an entrance. It's not marked well...maybe a "Welcome" sign? Once inside, the décor is nicely done. I dined with two girlfriends. My meal started with a lemon drop martini and it was very good. Our appetizer was a delicious, fresh summer salad with fresh tomatoes and onion. I had the Shrimp a la Morrone with a red sauce and thick fettucine-type noodles. From start to finish, it was an excellent home-style Italian meal. Is the food a culinary excursion to Italy? No. But is it reminiscent of your Italian grandmother's traditional cooking using fresh ingredients and made from scratch? Yes. Buon appetite!
