I was very unsatisfied with the room and the staff were unable to fix the issues with the room. I wanted to take a bath and there was no way to plug the OLD drain. The shower head didn't spray right, it was one big stream with no water pressure. The bathroom light by the toilet would take 5 minutes to warm up before turning on. The mirrors were not fully clean and the fridge leaked water on the inside and did not get very cold. The adjoining room door was very loose like the lock had been tampered with and there were holes in the walls around the sockets that did not look nice. I had asked specifically for a room with a tub. Once in the room I noticed it had no plug and it took 3 hours to be told they couldn't find one that fit and gave me a washcloth and tape to plug the drain! We were at breakfast at 6:30AM and it was not ready yet. The microwaved eggs and sausage were cold and not heated all the way. Breakfast was terrible. I told the Manager running the front desk, Shirley. She said there was nothing she could do but give me reward points for my misfortunes because I reserved my room through hotels.com. I never received an email at all for a rewards membership at all. I was extremely disappointed in my stay and will never stay there again.

This hotel is an excellent value for the budget-conscious traveler, and the breakfast is great. It's much more than the "continental breakfast" advertised, including hot eggs and sausage as well as make-your-own waffles, in addition to the usual muffins/ toast/ bagels/ cereal choices. Fresh fruit and yogurt, too, for those wanting healthier options. Add in a choice of fruit juices, coffee, and hot tea, and you really have just about everything you need. It opens early (6:30) for those who need to get going early, and stays open until 9:30 for those who prefer to sleep in. I've stayed at more expensive hotels that don't have a continental breakfast like this, so we were pleasantly surprised to say the least.

The hotel is located in a rather isolated area, but that's a good thing if you're looking for quiet, which we were. And it's not far from the center of town (West Chester).

Not sure if all the rooms do, but ours has a microwave and mini-fridge, which is quite convenient. And free internet is always appreciated.

All in all, we're really pleased with our stay so far (we have another day here), and the staff is so friendly, courteous, and helpful it's wonderful.

Great Hotel, Great Location To Do Everything You want to do in West Chester! The Hotel Rooms are comfortable and clean! The Breakfast Is Great! The front Desk staff Is very Kind and Helpful! Would recommend to all travelers in Chester Co.

Not great!
The phones in the room did not work. I was told that you have a cell phone
The remote to the television didn’t work either I called down on my cell phone to tell them and was told he would look for one and hour later still nothing
I actually left early due to a family emergency and was told he could not change my bill which I understand

we booked via microtel/wyndham website, was quoted a rate of $139.84at checkout we were charged $149.84 ... manager on duty refused to correct the $10 overchargeinstructed me to go thru corporate customer service for the refund, which has gone nowhere so farHow can a company quote one rate then charge another?we had ants in our room on the nightstand between the bedswe notified the front desk @ 9am ... when we returned @ 9pm, nothing was done to correct ... we had to notify front desk again and then evacuate our room while they sprayed ... then had to sleep with the ant killer smell that nightwhy wasn't this corrected immediately, we told the front desk they had all day to fix, but it never happened
