“A fun tour, but should be FREE (and was much shorter than advertised)”
Reviewed April 18, 2011

It was interesting to see how the spots are filmed, produced, and how QVC makes gobs of money every second of every day.. but this is a free tour that they charge $7.50 for, if you know what I mean. It's advertised as 90 minutes, we were done in about 45.

If this were free, I'd be telling the world to go there. But for $7.50, you can live without it.

“Disapointing”
Reviewed July 18, 2010

We went to QVC Studio Park on 7/17/10. In summary the place was a disappointment to me and my wife who has purchased many things from QVC.
We did not go on the tour because we were between times, it was $7.50, and my wife did not want the security guards rooting through her purse as we saw a group from a tour bus enter. In the busy summer season, we felt that the tours should be spaced no more than an hour. The price was too high for as much as we have spent with QVC. Many factories and other places offer free tours as a way to increase their brand loyalty but not QVC. The guards just seamed rude going through the women's purses even after going through a metal detector.
The store was not much to brag about. There was a room that mostly had cosmetics, skin care, and jewelery. There was a back room, smaller than the front, that had a few items on display. That room looked like it was part of a studio and I wondered if that was open all the time. When buying at the store, you need to right the item number down and then they go for the product and bring it back. This caused long lines at the cashiers. There was another small room that had food items. There was one case of frozen food. All prices were not discounted except that you didn't have to pay their enormous S&H. I thought the store was going to be much bigger and have just about every item that QVC offers. They do have the today's special value. I also thought a snack bar with foods they sell (i.e. Nathans hot dogs, Kansas city burgers, etc.) would also be there.
Everything at QVC almost looked like an after thought. What you think could be the areas biggest tourist trap is the biggest waste of time the area has to offer.

“QVC Does The Tour With Class!!!”
Reviewed July 16, 2009

We had the opportunity to recently visit the studio tour at QVC and found it a lot of fun. The informative tour took us around the studio with cool videos and looking at the world wide operations on this shopping channel. If you are a fan of QVC FAN this is a must see. The tour guide was informative and the staff top notch. The people in this studio store were helpful pointing out points of interest in the West Chester Area. We were able to see a live broadcast through glass windows. Currently the studio is being renovated due to floods so our tickets were complimentary. They also gave an s a coupon to come back once the studios are repaired. The tour was still worth it. The only gripe was it would have been nice to meet a host live in person. They claim they have this as a separate meet in greet in the fall months.

“Really interesting tour - we learnt a lot.”
Reviewed April 20, 2009

We went on the QVC Studio Park tour on Friday 10 April 2009 and really enjoyed the experience. Our tour guide was Susan and she was extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable about everything to do with QVC. She was more than happy to answer any questions anybody had as we went along and she really was a mine of information. We were visiting from the UK and came away with a completely different impression of QVC than we'd had previously.

“Fun novelty tour”
Reviewed June 19, 2008

I read about the QVC Studio in two travel books prior to a trip to the Brandywine Valley area. It was a nice distraction for my teenagers and mother from the many historic sites in the area. We're not QVC shoppers, but the tour is well done and fascinating. We had signed up to participate in a live audience through their web site, but the show was cancelled due to production issues. Still enjoyed the tour. Worth spending a morning on. Tours are every hour for $7.50 per person.
