You probably should stick to the basics, like sandwiches and burgers. I tried a turkey dinner special and was a bit disappointed. My wife had ribs, and they were not outstanding either. Service was friendly and prompt, but I would not be in a hurry to return.

Timothy's is an up-to-date modern restaurant/bar. There are 3 seating areas. They have a new outside area/terrace with tables. You can sit around the bar and in the bar area. there also high tables that are around the bar area. If you want a quieter atmoshere there is a different section with booths. this ideal for families or a couple's date There are flat screen tv's everywhere so you can watch your favorite games. They have unique specialty drinks that only Timothy's can make which keep you coming back for more.

We had eaten here before. It was delicious! I think we maybe didn't make really good take out choices. Would certainly try it again!

We went to Timothy's for an end of school year celebration. We had to place our order a day in advance. When we got there at 12:30, our tables were ready, but we waited over 1 hour for our lunch! At 1:20 we spoke to the manager and asked about the delay, wondering if we could get some bread or crackers. He replied, "You have over 30 people in your group -- how are we suppose to serve you so quickly?" , "You're not the only ones in the restaurant", and finally, "The food is coming!". Needless to say, my entire group was upset by his rudeness! The food began arriving at 1:30, and the last person served got her lunch at 2:00! Our bill was over $300 and yet this manager never came and apologized, never provided bread, and sent his waitresses to deal with his unhappy customers.
The food was delicious, absolutely no complaints from anyone, however, we all agreed that the manager put a real damper on our luncheon, and that it would be a long, long time before any of us returned. Very poor way to show customer care!!

As a family of four we often dined at "The Courtyard" which was replaced by Timothys of West Chester last fall. We were excited about the refurbishment and new opening. We have eaten there several times since it reopened, and the quality of service has steadily declined since the grand opening. Tonight was the worst and we will probably never return. We arrived shortly before 5 p.m. and only one other family was dining at the time in the main dining area. We were seated promptly and then waited forever for a server to come and take our drink order. We finally had to ask the hostess to get a server for us, and still there was a delay. A server finally came to take our order and no apology for the wait was offered. We ordered and another long wait ensued. Finally the appetizers arrived and were NOT hot at all. Shortly after receiving the appetizers, the main dishes arrived. We had barely had time to start the appetizers. Service was poor, and the food was mediocre. This restaurant is NOT for families; it is obviously being marketed now as a sports bar/live entertainment spot for West Chester young people. This is a shame as we had been bringing our kids and loved ones here for two decades or more for good food and a great atmosphere. BIG disappointment and we will be spending our dining dollars elsewhere from now on. We gave this place at least a half dozen chances before giving up. Sad ending to a place which was once a great location for family get togethers, great service, and great food.
