The overlooks at the "primitive" Colton Point park, on the west side of the Pine Creek gorge, have spectacular views, and are easily accessible for anyone. You can drive to within a few dozen yards, and walk a flat path from one spectacular view to another. The hiking trails, in contrast, were difficult to follow. We thought we were following the easy Rim Trail, but found ourselves far from it (we think). We eventually were able to back track to the starting point - the trail was supposed to loop back to that location.
