Worlds most amazing park. Remember when I was a child before the war, I would play there with the chairs and would observe the water snakes from above. Great place, amazing views.

“Stop and smell the flowers”
Reviewed December 9, 2013

Friday nights in the summer are awesome. You can bring a picnic and a glass of wine and relax in the most beautiful gardens in the area. Wonderful for all ages. Perfectly maintained. You may even. See a few artists painting as you stroll through the grounds.. Not to be missed.

“One of the best garden ever”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

I have been going to this garden since it was open to the public. For art lovers, romantics, bring a picnic lunch, there is a picnic area and some days you can eat on the garden grounds, and serious gardeners. I have been to many gardens as I am an avid gardener, and this is in the top tier.

You will see unique uses of plant material, along with amazing garden art, very whimsical and natural looking. You can sit along the creek on one of their great benches, or stroll through the asian garden, the shade area or the vegetable garden. Great variety of shrubs, trees and perennials, along with an area around the house that is tropical.

Magical.

“Chantecleer Gardens, Wayne Pennsylvania”
Reviewed October 16, 2013

These are truly one of the best gardens in the United States, if not the world.
Easily reachable from Philadelphia and open from early April to October end.
They are spread out over 37 acres and are filled with rare and beautiful foliage and flowers with meandering walks along streams and ponds, all maintained beautifully. You can spend a whole day there and bring your lunch with you. Lots of walking so have comfortable flat shoes.
Many vistas of amazing beauty. Reasonably priced and beyond beautiful and charming. A must see especially with children and family though it has many lovely romantic spots as well
