“Small, but near-perfect”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

We're long-time lovers of gardens, having visited them throughout Europe and the US. Chanticleer is one of the very best, offering a winding, hilly tour through perhaps eight or ten quite different environments, all of them splendidly maintained. Longwood Gardens is the standard for grand establishments and this is the standard for small ones.

Lovely grounds to walk around. Always something to see. You'll be surprised when you walk in. And this was a private home!

“Family Outing”
Reviewed January 20, 2013

Chanticleer is really a local treasure. We visit often for the peace and serenity of these beautifully maintained grounds. The many seating areas through out offer places to settle in with a glass of wine or picnic lunch that we bring along. The price of admittance is reasonable, you really should make a point of stopping by!

“Over the top!!”

Impressive and provocative. Plan to spend the better part of a day here -- in any season. The gardens are artistically designed and professionally executed.
