Interesting seasonal menu. My husband and I both enjoyed our meals. Nice ambiance. Friendly and attentive staff. Will return.

This was a first visit and we were delighted to be met with a warm and friendly greeting, a decor that is both elegant and charming and, most of all, an interesting and diverse menu proved to include the two dishes we chose to be outstanding. Very generous portions with a "comfort" food feel yet light taste and perfectly seasoned preparation. Our interaction with the maitre d' was delightful - a true representative of an excellent establishment. Look forward to many more visits - including brunch and evenings with live entertainment.

One might expect to find food this good and the charming initing decor on a tiny country road outside of Paris. Ella's is far more easily accessible -- it's in a suburban shopping center outside Philadelphia!

The atmosphere is warm and comfortably casual, and the food is fantastic. Most menu items delicious "Jazz RIffs" on tried and true American Comfort Food favorites. The Fried Chicken and Mashed Potatoes will rekindle every pleasant childhood memory you harbor, and it's much better than Mom used to make -- I don't care how good a cook you think she was.

There's a generously cut Pork Chop served on Bourbon-glazed, mashed sweet potatoes with crystalized ginger that'll knock your sox off, and I could go on and on.

One of the best suburban restaurants in the Philadelphia area -- and we've eaten in them all.

Our fourth or fifth visit, this time with five out-of-town guests. Everyone thought the food and ambience was wonderful. We all ordered something different and no one was disappointed. And, of course, we had to order the fried pickles for the table. We were there on a Saturday night so it was a bit noisy but you could still have a conversation. It was nice to hear our guests say we could not have picked a better place!

What a great lunch!! Brought the kids too. The location is perfect, the atmosphere is fantastic, more of a hamptons bistro to me. Love the food, classic american with a twist of exciting new gourmet ideas. We couldn't have been happier. Rather expensive but normal for the area truly. Please go and experience it for yourself, its going to be a favorite on anyones list.
