“What a breath of fresh air on the Main Line!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 25, 2012

Stopped in for cocktails and some lite fare. The atmosphere is so refreshingly different and yet respectful of the classic hotel that holds it. The bartender was very personable and their "Salted Plum Martini" was so unique and so yummy, I've been talking about it ever since! We ordered off the bar menu and loved everything we had. The duck flatbread is sooo good! I can't wait to go back!

“Wonderful Anniversary Celebration”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 9, 2012

We were in the area for the horse show at Devon and looking for someplace nice to celebrate our anniversary. We were very fortunate to have stumbled upon this restaurant. The food was fabulous, service attentive and decor chic without being pretentious. Only complaint was they ran out of "special" fish at 8:15 on a Sat night. How does that happen? The halibut I ordered instead was very good. Bread is amazing and dessert was fabulous! If you're In the area, I would definitely recommend.

“Bar Scene at Paramour for the Main Line Lookers”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 5, 2012

Paramour is the swankiest place to open on the Main Line ever. It's for those of us who are too lazy to go to downtown Philadelphia for dinner or drinks. I've reviewed the dining room in 2011, and decided to go back to Paramour and check out the bar scene.
Just like the dining room, Paramour's bar is elegantly decorated, the seating is extremely comfortable, and the food and drinks are expensive. Although they have special offers from Sunday to Wednesday, plan on spending at least $50 a piece if you are going to be there any other night, and expect to spend at least $35 on the specials Sunday - Wednesday.
The $5 special wine flight is really interesting, as is the beer flight, offered from 5-7 in the lobby or outdoor area. We didn't see any complimentary flat breads, so plan on ordering food. And that's where the costs add up. A Cheese Burger at Paramour is $19, and yes it comes with delicious fries. But seriously folks, a burger for almost $20? It's nearly as good as the $17 burger you can get in the dining room at White Dog Cafe across the street.
Now about the crowd- on a recent Wednesday night the hottest and preppiest were there in all their finery. The bar gets going around 7, just in time to miss any special offers, so you know they are all well heeled. The staff is very friendly, the service is excellent, so at least you know you are getting pampered for your dollars.

“Excellent”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2012

Very good expereince here with a group of friends for dinner on June 30. The staff are very attentive but not overly so. The menu is indeed eclectic as they describe it to be. There were eight of us dinning and everyone seemed quite happy with their meal. I had a NY strip and it was cooked perfrectly. Good selection of wines/beers. Recommended

“Knowledgeable, attentive staff”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2012

That was the best tip we've given in a while. While the food was very good, we were particularly impressed by the knowledgeable server who advised confidently about each wine and each dish, even sharing his own tip for cooking a killer pasta. Generous portions, fairly priced. We love server knowledge without attitude. Ask for Moore.
