What a wonderful way to spend a few hours on a Saturday. The grounds and vineyard are beautiful. The staff welcoming and the owner, Tom, knowledgable and passionate about his work. Could not have enjoyed it more as he took our group through the wines with equal parts enthusiasm and expertise. Though it was quite crowded and I would try to plan a visit if you want special attention on a less hectic day. We were very pleasantly surprised and are returning to make our purchases after much discussion with our fellow tasters as to our favorites. Well done, Crossings, well done.

My boyfriend and I ordered a wine & cheese plate pairing class for Crossing Vineyards and were thoroughly disappointed. The grounds are really pretty, and there were tables set up when we walked in so we assumed we'd be able to sit and have someone teach us about pairing the wines & cheese since according to Groupon, this was a class. We were handed a seran-wrapped cheese plate with crackers, told to walk to the back room, and when we tried to sit down at the tables, were told that we had to stand the whole time at a high-bar area.

There was a gentleman there who clearly knew what he was doing, but he was helping people at the tables where people could sit down. The woman we had to start with seemed nice enough, but was too busy to talk to us for the first few minutes, got us started on one wine, and couldn't tell us which cheese to pair it with. She left right after this and said someone would be taking her place, when we were given someone else who had no idea what he was doing. He could talk about the type of wine well enough, but didn't seem educated on the Crossing Vineyards brands and didn't even seem to really love and enjoy it, as compared to our Kog Hill Winery tasting where we could tell that the man having us taste his wines loved every second of what he did and taught us so much. Back to Crossing Vineyards, this new guy we had knew absolutely nothing about the cheese either. He gave us a confusing sheet and said we could try to use that as a reference. Such a waste, and definitely NOT a wine & cheese pairing class. We left feeling unimpressed and uninvested in this winery which didn't make us feel comfortable, appreciated as customers, or educated on wine & cheese pairing. I've heard Sand Castle Winery is much better at their pairing classes and has a better ambience. Go there instead.

The wine was not very good, and the atmosphere was pushy and contrived. It is a pretty property and nice to walk around, especially if the home is open for tours.

Having just moved next door from northern California, we were honestly blown away by the quality of wine at Crossing Vineyards. It was yummy and had class. Most local wines here are fruity and sweet but not here. Well balanced, elegant wines.

The wine is excellent. The vineyard is so appealing and makes you feel like you are in France.
