As someone who has to eat gluten free, I was excited to see that Allessio's now had gluten free offerings. We used to frequent there when they first opened.
The decor leaves a lot to be desired. No curtains left most of us with sunglasses on as the setting aun poured through plate glass windows. It felt kind of tired, if not slightly dirty. a kid sat in the corner with a laptop.
My Dad had the fried scallops (not gf) and they were very heavily coated. My dinner was supposed to be a chicken dish with gluten free penne. Instead, it came with rice spaghetti and it was bland. Next time, I will head to Grandma's grotto up the road.
