to be blunt, there is not a lot of happening food-wise in this part of pennsylvania. there's chez gerard in hopwood (?), but we didn't go there. so thank heaven for caileigh's. we had made a reservation, but because of google's terrible directions, sending us north instead of south, we missed it. the place wasn't fully booked so it wasn't problem anyway. emily - i apologize if i'm not remembering her name correctly - was our server, and she was great. there was a large tour group in the main dining room, so even though she was stretched thin, she still made sure to check in on us at all the appropriate points during our meal.
the food was very good. is it going to blow your mind? no. this was a stop on a long road trip, so it's a relief not to eat junk food, but solid, quality, homemade food. after an exhausting day, this was just what we needed.
