All the staff was very helpful and very polite, breakfast was average for what they had, the staff person that was taking care of the breakfast was very nice and polite, and kept the place well stocked and clean. The rooms were very clean. The beds were too soft for us, but maybe not for others. The only problem we had was the missing soap holder,a area about 9x9 inches, it was completely gone and just bear wall showing, did approach one of the staff about it and told them that everytime someone showers the water was going into the wall. They had no idea how long this problem has been like this. Maybe someone should look into this matter, before it gets worse. It was a little eye sore looking at it everytime you would shower. Room was 325 and we stayed Aug 11th for two nights. We would indeed stay there again.

I chose this hotel because I have always found the rooms at Marriott properties to be clean with very comfortable beds. This was no exception. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and while I had no special requests, I observed them being very helpful and accomodating with a couple other guests. The room was very clean. The television was not a flat screen and was about 25 inches I would guess. The continental breakfast (included in the price of the room) included a station to make your waffle, various danishes and bagels, etc., microwavable Jimmy Dean sandwiches, a variety of juices and cereals. There was coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available 24 hours, although you may have to ask for fresh coffee to be made when demand is low. The prices were in line with other chain hotels in the area, which were suprisingly higher than I thought they would be in Uniontown. I enjoyed my stay here very much and would not hesitate to come back again.

Stayed 3 night at the hotel on business. The third floor is very quite. We had a King room with fridge and microwave. Rooms are fair size, one chair and small tv sitting on low dresser. Second day we were there ac give out and within 15 min. we had a replacement. The staff were very nice and helpful. The hot tub was super hot, it was great. Breakfast was good. Shopping on both sides, dollar store and Gabriel Brothers.

Fairly standard Fairfield Inn, located near the US-40 freeway, and the only hotel off the PA-21 exit. However, you are less than a mile away from a mall and lots of chain restaurants on Business US 40.

Our room came with a refrigerator and microwave, which was nice. TV was small and located on top of a short dresser, which is typical for a Fairfield. Staff was friendly and the free breakfast was decent.

This Fairfield Inn is typical of this class of hotels - no surprises (which is generally good).
The beds are very comfortable!
Two dislikes: 1) this place is hard to find! We did not have our GPS booted up, and drove right past it once without realizing. 2) they need to repair the major potholes in the parking lot.

This hotel does not have any on site laundry service, work out facility, or decent continental breakfast. The hotel is also outside of the Uniontown area were the majority of the restaurants are located. I will state that the staff is friendly and helpful the hotel just lacks what a traveler would expect. Most hotels that I have been to if they dont have a fitness facility usually have a deal with a local gym...their deal is for you to goto the Holiday Inn across town. I have been a Platinum member with Marriott for two years and will recommend my fellow Marriott fans to stay at the Holiday Inn or other local hotel chains.

Considering it's off season and there are maybe 3 rooms booked in the entire hotel, the rate was totally overpriced. This is Uniontown, for god's sake. Small room, old television, the cable kept going in and out, very annoying. No gym! Couldn't believe it! No gym!

Only plus: it's right next to Gabriel Brother's, the best discount clothing place ever. And not far from the Uniontown Mall, also the source of serious clothing bargains.

If the hotel had been more reasonable, I would be more forgiving. But for the price? Not good.

Dear Guest:

Thank you for your feedback on our hotel. There are many factors that contribute to a hotel's pricing, and your review does not say whether you were in our area on business or for leisure purposes, what day you stayed with us or what rate you paid, so I can not address your issue with the rate.

As far as not having a fitness room or gym on the property, we are aware that some of our guests will want this convenience. We have worked out an arrangement with one of our sister hotels in the area for our guests to use the fitness room at that hotel free of charge. I am surprised that our staff did not inform you of this when you expressed your concern over not having one on the property. As a result of your review, we have retrained our staff about the availability of a fitness room for our guests so that all staff is aware.

Thank you again for your positive feedback on our location and we do agree that Gabriel Brothers is a great place to shop, as is the Uniontown Mall.

We hope that you will return again soon and give our hotel another chance at providing you with the great service that our guests deserve.

Sincerely,

Lisa A. Malago
