I love this place!! We travel all the time for work, this is not a "run of the mill" hotel. The layout is awesome. The staff is outstanding. They are friendly and extremely helpful. It's located in a beautiful area. Very clean!! I can't say enough. We were very satisfied in all areas. I will definitely be back. We have more work in the area next year and plan to stay at Crystal Springs at that time. It's also the kind of place I would come on a vacation. Very comfy and homey feel about it.

We stayed in the older motel portion of this lodging. The room was very "70's" decor but neat & orderly...there was a certain appeal to it. It actually had enough electrical outlets for our laps tops & cell phones. Also, it was fairly spacious (one queen bed). The price was good for a last minute Labor Day get-away. The newer portion will be more expensive. The view was decent & it was next to a busy road & as are most motels in the world, but it was not an interstate (there were quiet times in evening). The A/C unit was loud but worked well & I left word that it sounded like it was in distress but the issue was not addressed while I was there. TV needs to be updated to flat screen. Maybe a little more housekeeping effort but mostly clean. The new Inn portion looked nice & all amenities such as the fitness room & laundry facility are open to the motel guests.

Room Tip: In areas outside of Towanda, cell phone coverage is poor. Also, GPS locations are not quite right f...

I have been setting up lodgings for my Construction Crews at the Crystal Springs Inn for 4 months, and in that period, the Crystal Springs have housed no less than 30 of the workers in both the Suites and the rooms. The facilities have proven to be well above the norm for the area, and the staff are the most accommodating, pleasant, and hard working I have ever seen. Our employees have enjoyed their stays at this location while working, and some have the intention of bringing their families to it during their personal travels. I personally will recommend This Facility to Anyone who is looking to be treated to a Great Stay.

Crystal Springs has changed a lot since I moved to NY in 2010!

My husband and I returned to PA for our wedding in late May 2013, and one of the things we are still hearing about from our guests is how much they loved their stay at the hotel. That the layout was awesome (considering some of our guests had 4 or more to a room to cut costs) and it was huge with 2 big beds and a queen size pullout couch. They also loved the staff (how she set them up with wifi and extra bedding straight away) the kcup coffee machine, afterhours check in options, the balconies, etc.

I worked with her for about 4 months prior to the wedding, and the reason we had such a large block of rooms booked only with this hotel is because of the hotel's customer service. We had originally booked rooms at the Riverstone and they never felt inclined to tell us rooms had opened up (when we requested to be on the waitlist).

Frustrated, we called in mid-January and just inquired about their rates. If you're staying more than one night or bringing in a rather large group, it's turns this luxury hotel room into a bargain, at the same price (cheaper on the weekends) than some of the other options in Towanda.

Mary sent us spreadsheets as our guests made their RSVPs and was in constant communication, even leaving our out-of-town goodie bags in each room.

Of the 15 or so rooms that were reserved, the only issue was when we a room of guests that got sick and never updated the hotel until past the cancellation period. And Mary allowed us to put new guests into that room so our sick guests wouldn't be charged the cancellation fee.

I will only come to this hotel when in Towanda, and when we asked my new inlaws if they wanted to come with us to PA in September, they insisted on returning to Crystal Springs.

Also, we got some complimentary champagne and strawberries on our wedding night. Amazing experience.

Room Tip: The 1st floor has a connected patio, while the 2nd and 3rd floors are private balconies. If you'...

This is a Mom & Pop, which seems to be well-cared for and in good repair. I have no complaints about the place but can't really rate it much better than average, maybe a very slight above-average for the type. The only real negative is that it sits along a pretty busy (loud w/ trucks) roadway. If you are a very light sleeper, this will possibly be an issue for you, though it was not too terrible for me..

This was our first stay there, and we loved it.This place is very comfortable, and the owners are very friendly and helpful. Great shower, comfortable beds, good lighting, and a nice view. This is also the first hotel I've every stayed in that does recycling. It's not fancy, but neither are the prices. We will definitely stay there next time we are in the area.
