On the first morning my breakfast was so enormous (and yummy!!) that Jan bagged my leftovers for lunch. On the second morning, I had enough for lunch and dinner when I returned home!!!

Loved listening to the Amish buggies clip clopping by. Wish they could have road blocked the cars.

I always enjoy the Lancaster countryside, enjoyed exploring shops recommended by Bruce and Jan.

Comfy, cozy, lovely Spring garden, charming innkeepers and wonderful art.

Thanks so much for writing a review. We've heard of guests not being hungry for lunch after our four-course breakfasts at the inn, but have never been told that folks weren't hungry for dinner! With all the good food around Lancaster County, that rarely happens! Glad you had fun!

Jenn and Frank - we're so glad you liked the inn and breakfast. And there's nothing like the balcony off the Garden Suite to enjoy a little morning coffee....or glass of wine in the evening. We'll look forward to seeing you again.

We have delayed writing this review, trying to come up with words that convey how fabulous The Artist's Inn is without repeating other reviewers' comments. Jan and Bruce are excellent hosts and have created a beautiful, welcoming and comfortable inn. We had a wonderful stay in the Kris Kringle room in late April. The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We enjoyed viewing Bruce's artwork throughout the Inn. Jan's breakfasts were amazing and she truly made us feel at home. Jan has a wealth of information to share with guests about the community she obviously loves. We took her recommendation to visit the farmers' auction not far from the Inn, and thoroughly enjoyed watching the rows and rows of beautiful flowers and produce being presented by local farmers for auction. All in all, the Artist's Inn is Lancaster County jewel and one we hope to be able to return to someday.

Barry and Teresa - Thank you so much for your kind words. It's really important to us that you had a great time. Not many people take the chance to stop into the auction, but those that do find it very interesting. Sort of like stepping back in time....and the quality of flowers and produce that's grown in Lancaster County just can't be beat. We're so glad you stayed with us.

I felt very comfortable and at home in this charming B&B. Jan, the innkeeper, was a darling. She was very knowledgeable of the area. Very clean and the breakfast was delicious. I stayed in the Kris Kringle room. A little Christmas in June!! Terre Hill is a peaceful little town in Lancaster County. I would highly recommend staying there.

Nina - Thanks so much for staying with us and posting a review. We love Terre Hill and so do our guests - quiet and relaxing and yet close to everything. It's the best-kept secret in Lancaster County. There's usually something going on - like the car show in the park when you were here. We're hoping to see you again - maybe the next time you visit family!

What a relaxing place to unwind! From the delicious breakfast, to sipping coffee on the porch while watching the sun rise, to a relaxing hot tub! The Inn was very warm and inviting as were the hosts!
We had a great time shopping in the Kitchen Kettle Village shops and going to Sight and Sound to see "Noah". We ate at Shady Maple and were so impressed with the quality and quantity of food!!! We only wish our trip could've been longer!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Garden Suite, which had it's on private porch and also a King bed and 2 person...

Thank you Angela and Brandon - we're so glad you had a nice getaway trip - even if it did include a flat tire. Everyone should be as prepared as you two on the road! Thanks for posting - we hope you liked the show.

If you are looking for a B&B with a homey atmosphere, awesome innkeepers, and a delicious four-course breakfast, your search is over! My husband and I have been staying at B&B's for many years, and this was, by far, our most pleasant experience. Both Jan and Bruce are extremely knowledgeable about the area and provided us with detailed printed information concerning antique shopping, restaurant recommendations with discount coupons, as well as advice on where to purchase plants and herbs. The inn is lovely - filled with antiques and Bruce's artwork. We truly can't wait to go back again, and we feel like we made 2 new friends!
