“No tax on clothes and shoes”
Reviewed June 6, 2013

Our first stop of the tour brings us to The Crossings Premium Outlet in PA state where no taxes on shoes and clothes. This is a bonus. The stores featured here is your typical outlets often found elsewhere and food choices are not much choices. You will need at least 5 hours to go through most of the stores here and there are deals to be had. Tip: get the VIP book for more offers.
If you are willing to drive from NY state, you can be here for the drive. Stay around here if you prefer to rest before driving back upstate to NY.

“Some good buys, some not so”
Reviewed June 2, 2013

I usually shop at Winners (Canada) and Winners' prices are much better than most stores at The Crossings. Even The Bay (Canada) has better prices for shoes and sandals (the Bay's promotional or sales prices, not their regular prices). For example, I bought a Nike men's sandals at Winners for $20. Same or similar items, around $30 at The Crossings. The Gap outlets however always have good sales and no exception here. The boyfriend-type shorts I've been looking everywhere for, I found here --regular price marked at $40, paid $17. BTW, no tax on sandals (Famous Footwear has great selection, prices average) and the shorts. Try not to eat at the food places here, as there are so many better food outlets nearby.

“Nice Shopping”
Reviewed June 1, 2013

This outlet has many shopping stores and places that all can find something they need/want. It doesn't have all of the popular outlet stores that you may find at bigger outlets but you are sure to find something to buy here.

“Too crowded”
Reviewed May 29, 2013

Lots of nice stores but way to crowded to enjoy. Also, not enough food options in the food court. Playground is a nice addition, but also too crowded.

“Outdoor outlets”
Reviewed May 23, 2013

I rarely go to randomly walk around - especially if hot/humid/rainy. But I like the stores because they represent a great selection of specialty items and also big brands. My favorite stores have changed over the years. I greatly miss Puma, though the Adidas store is warming to me.

I'll always find something, and it has been a great place to find gifts--even on packed holidays, these guys stock up well because of tourist crowds. It is true that sometimes they are not the best offers...but usually it's a good enough deal.

What I do not like is the food court. None of those food options are all that appealing. And there are too many vending machines with junk. I always make it a point to eat before I head there--and bring bottled drinks from any supermarket/pharmacy in the area.
