Owner description: Camelback Mountain Resort is one of the only ski resorts in PA to offer year-round family fun! Our ski resort is a place where kids can be kids... and adults can be too. It offers you a year-round supply of unadulterated fun. Camelback ski resort challenges if allowed to but never intimidates. It's a place that is both lively and quiet no matter what hour of the day. It's one of the only ski resorts in PA that has something for everyone to enjoy no matter what race, color or creed and doesn't care what equipment you use to traverse its slopes or what clothes you wear to keep you comfortable. Camelback speaks many languages, but no matter what language is yours, "Winter Fun" is always translated here. Come out and discover Camelback and experience winter fun like never before at the most diverse and exciting ski resort in PA.

“Not bad but nothing special”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 22, 2013 via mobile

Went and hiked up to the summit and then poked around a bit taking pictures. Went over to the zip line and were going to do that so watched a few people go down. They have you sit in a seat type of thing and go down, and it didn't look that great for the price so we skipped it. Talked to staff asking about a few other things and they were neither rude or polite, just sort of flat. They didn't seem to know the area to well. So we went off to explore. It seems that this place is trying to expand from just being a ski resort, but it seems maybe they should stick to the snow...

“Great for families”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 18, 2013

Wonder for people of all ages. Perfect for family something for everyone from ages 1- 100. You can split the group up and everyone can do what they enjoy the most. The Elders of the group can get a cabana and watch the younger ones at the wave pool and relax.

“Water park fun... At large”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

Fun for the whole family, many rides, some of which are new, some are easy, some are wild, kids' rides zone is very nice too.
The zipline rides are really cool too, not for the faint of heart, nor those who are afraid of hights, real hights!

“Rides are nice but organization is a bit lacking”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 2, 2013

Signed up for the Segways which were 90 min of fun and the zipride 4000 ft which was a good rush.

The morning went from good to really bad when we went to do the 1000ft zip lining. First they should have told us we could do this between the Segway and the other attraction but no communication.

Then there is a lack of oraganization and it is hot as all can be inside and there is only 1 person handing out harnesses for the mountaintop attraction and nobody else to be found so good luck in trying to figure out what to do next.

Also they jammed more than the legal limit on the bus up to the segway / zip ride attraction as there were 30+ people on a bus that has seating for 24.

Lots of folks visiting that have a hard time speaking English and very few to NO people guiding people to help them select attractions.

Also after getting completely jerked around on trying to do the 1000ft zip line that we paid $40 for 4 people with two other attractions we asked for a refund for the non used attraction. Paid $292 for other attractions that we enjoyed but got completely jerked around on the last ride which left a very bitter overall experience as a result.

Clearly these guys are more concerned about profits then guest satisfaction.
