I understand this place has a long history but it has evolved into just your typical diner food. Mass produced store rolls, overcooked vegetables, etc. It is a nice quick bite but nothing special.

The Snydersville Diner was once the place to go to for a good family style meal. good prices and good portions. Both are gone now...prices are high and portions are small. Pies are terrible and the menu is stale as can be. Very boring!

Came in for Lunch and as usual great food and service. Looking for stewed tomatoes to return to the choices of sides.

Stopped in on Labor Day on our way home from The Crossings. The atmosphere is a bit dated with 1970's wood paneling everywhere you look, but it adds to the vintage diner feel. Started with big steaming mugs of freshly brewed coffee and ice water. My husband ordered the Hot Roast Beef Sandwich with Homemade Mashed Potatoes and Creamed Cucumbers and I got the Chicken Fingers with Beer Battered French Fries and a side of Coleslaw. The salads arrived first and were fresh and cold and piled high in the dishes. The hot food was not far behind, gigantic portions on both plates. Everything was piping hot and fresh. We finished with an amazing slice of Coconut Cream Pie with two forks. The service was OK, could have been better, but they got the job done. The pie alone would bring me back. $26 before tip.

We went in for an early Sunday dinner and were very dissapointed in all aspects. The service was bad, we were not even a second thought after our meals had been dropped and had to hunt down the waitress for our check for 15 minutes. My husband had the teriyaki steak which was overdone and under seasoned. I ordered the pork chop dinner which was also grossly underseasoned. We had to add tons of salt just to be able to eat our meal. Everything is frozen, nothing is fresh, and served to you by surly waitresses that obviously did not like non locals. This may have been the worst diner experience I have ever personally had. Stay away.
