“Return visit after long absence”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2013 via mobile

This is our hometown TX Roadhouse. Like any other TX Roadhouse, the food is good and the overall value. Unlike othe Roadhouses, this one suffers from Looooonnnnngggg waits - 56 minutes from order to food on table. By then, you are full of peanuts and bread and waterlogged to actually enjoy your entree. Hate to say this but it is typical of this establishment and why we don't visit as often. TIP: go to the bar for faster service.

“Good food but wait and costly”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

The food was very good but a bit expensive. Wait time to get food was 1 hour. Good portion but had to ask for more dressing or butter. Seemed very chaotic. Not family affordable. But food was great tasting just long wait and not something you can afford to go to all the time. Price didn't equal portion.

“Needs a thorough cleaning and updating”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 16, 2013

The fare is always the same so if you have tried one Texas Roadhouse, then you know what all the others will have. This one lacked the clean and polish that I have seen in the others. The walls and tables were not up to the usual standards of a Texas Roadhouse. The food was good; again, the menu and meals are the same as in my home state.

“Fantastic steaks and prime rib.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 6, 2013

This is western theme all the way. On each table is a pail of peanuts, don't worry toss the shells on the floor.

The bread you get prior to ordering is off the chart..Cinnamon bread rools with cinnamon butter..WOW.

In a show case you can view and pick out which ever steak you want...I have had the Bone in Ribeye...OMG...They have sirlion, T bone , Porterhouse, whatever you desire. However not in the showcase are greats like Texas roadkill, which is like chopped steak...really good, Pulled pork chicken, ribs and the the wonderful Prime Rib, They have 12 oz, 14 oz and 16 oz on the menu...BUT HEAR THIS...you can oder any size you want. The last time I ordered the prime rib, I ordered a 21oz...I cut it in half and brought the half home with me and had a great meal the next day.
The prime rib crust is out of this world...BUT you must ask for the creamy horseradish sauce on the side, you will not get it if you don't ask. Side dishes are great..baked beans with bacon, broccoli, baked potatoe, but if you don't want that much salt, you must ask them not to put salt on the baked potatoe skin. They dip it in salt if you dont say anything. The house salad is really good, included in it is pieces of hard boiled egg, chedder cheese, tomatoes, crutons really good...

I forgot to mention that the appitizers are off the chart...I love the shrimp on a skewer, it comes all seasoned and placed on a buttery toased garlic piece of roll...WOW.

This is a family type fun place with some of the best steaks, ribs and prime rib you will find anywhere.

“Great birthday”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 18, 2013

Brought my daughter here for her birthday and she loved it. She ordered the steak bites and told them to cook It all the way through and they actually did the first time. Very nice and polite staff. Not a wait at all. My food was very good as well. Clean place and will be back. Very cool thing they do for kids on their birthday.
